ObjectiveAccording to traditional Chinese medicine theory and experience in the treatment of the mentor, the traditional Chinese medicine theory of cancer pain literature search analysis, to provide a theoretical basis for the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for cancer pain. The cancer pain Traditional Chinese Medicine based comprehensive treatment program as a starting point to evaluate the efficacy of cancer pain treatment programs and to explore its feasibility.MethodsA comprehensive treatment of cancer pain as a starting point for the study to patients with cancer pain to paste the topical joint Chinese medicine decoction of TCM drugs to OxyContin custom control study by randomized controlled trials Qizheng Xiaotong relieve cancer pain to understand clinical efficacy of comprehensive treatment, and to explore its feasibility. All clinical data from the Beijing Chinese and west intergrative Medicine Hospital from April2011to January2013were treated with moderate to severe cancer pain patients, a clear diagnosis and to comply with the inclusion criteria of this study, OxyContin groups divided according to the random number table, the combined treatment group (Qi zhengXiaotong stickers, millimeter wave irradiation joint dialectical oral decoction of the group) and the combined therapy group (Qi zhengXiaotong stickers, millimeter wave irradiation joint dialectical oral decoction plus OxyContin Group) Qizheng Xiaotong paste per person per day an externally bonded on the most obvious part of the pain, outside millimeter wave irradiation import, decoction of Chinese medicine syndrome type oral decoction, the OxyContin20mg starting Q12h oral,7th a course of treatment. Observed the analgesic efficacy results, improved quality of life, physical improvement, the continuous analgesia time and onset time, pain scoring to improve the situation.ResultsIn this study.96cases were collected cases, statistics cases of93cases. OxyContin into the group of group of36patients, shedding two cases, the statistical treatment of34cases; TCM treatment group (topical Qizheng Xiaotong paste plus millimeter wave irradiation combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation Oral group) enrolled a total of32cases, shedding one cases, access to the statistical treatment of31cases; The combination group (topical odd Xiaotong paste plus millimeter wave irradiation combined with traditional Chinese medicine Syndrome OxyContin of a given group) enrolled a total of28cases,28cases no loss cases into the statistical processing. The results showed that: ①the balance of three groups of patients’ gender, age, height, weight, vital signs and other general information packet; pain intensity, quality of life (QOL), performance status (Karnofsky score),pain accompanied by symptoms such as baseline data packet equalization.②analgesic efficacy results showed that: Cases of complete remission (C’R) were OxyContin6cases (17.64%), Chinese medicine treatment group,9cases (12.90%),and combined treatment group,12cases (42.86%); Partial remission (PR) cases were OxyContin group,23cases (67.64%), Chinese medicine treatment group,15cases (48.39%), and combined treatment group,16cases (57.14%);Mild remission (MR) OxyContin given group5cases (14.70%), Chinese medicine treatment group,12cases (38.71%), the combined treatment group0cases; cases were invalid (NR)0. The total response rate (CR+PR) OxyContin group was85.3%; Chinese medicine treatment group was61.29%; combined treatment group of100%.③improvement of quality of life (QOL): OxyContin group, to improve the quality of life (QOL) of the Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group the percentage of the average rank order42.6,46.5and53.0,Seems OxyContin group to improve least. Chinese medicine treatment group, followed by the combined treatment group. However, current statistics, the difference between the three groups is not statistically significant.④The Improvement of performance status (KPS) compared to the situation: OxyContin group, Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group performance status (KPS) to improve the percentage of average rank order38.6,47.3and53.7OxyContin group at least, Chinese medicine treatment group, followed by the most improvement in the combination group,Chinese medicine treatment group and the combined group is slightly belter than the OxyContin group. OxyContin group, Chinese medicine treatment group and the combination group before and alter treatment, self-comparison (P <0.05), there are significant differences in the role of the physical condition of the patients showed significant improvement.⑤continuous analgesia time and onset time compared: the average rank of OxyContin group, Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group continued duration of analgesia37.0,48.1and57.0, OxyContin group the continuous analgesia shortest, longest combined treatment group; The onset time of the average rank order48.8,47.6and44.1The onset time of the mean OxyConlin group1.169706±0.5172411.209677±0.502781hour of Chinese medicine treatment group; combination group1.12500±0.458128hours Onset time is basically no difference.⑥associated symptoms: nausea, vomiting, and compare quantified constipation, using two-way sequence associated table data inspection, P <0.05, the difference was statistically significant. The above description of nausea, vomiting and constipation of the three groups of Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group compared with the side effects of OxyContin group, the patients tolerated better than OxyContin group. ⑦The pain scoring improvement compared to the situation:After treatment, pain score of the patients in each group were significantly lower (F=1137.36,P<0.0001), but the pain of the patients in each group scored lower their different (F=6.44, P=0.0024), the combined group pain scoring lower up.ConclusionTraditional Chinese Medicine and comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine topical therapy-based method has good analgesic effect.Concluded that OxyContin group, Chinese medicine treatment group and combined treatment group total effective rate was no significant difference in governance combined Chinese medicine orally to improve the patient’s pain, alleviate gastrointestinal side effects, improve the patient’s physical condition, increasepatients with certain advantages of opioid tolerance.
