Based on the present situation of China’s rural environment problem increasingly, rural public goods for environmental protection as research object, by part of policy of China rural environmental protection for empirical evidence, the supply status,the supply mode and the demand status, is be analysised. This paper thinks, with the shortage of China’s rural public goods for environmental protection at present, it cannot satisfy the countryside actual needs. The supply mode of rural public goods for environmental protection is still leading by government supply mode.And the demand expressing mechanism of rural public goods for environmental protection is not fully established.Based on the status of supply, this paper analyzes the evolutionary path of rural public goods for environmental protection. Based on the study of mode of supply, this paper not only analyzes the government supply mode, the marker supply mode and the village-self supply mode,but also the supply model of innovation. Based on the study of requirement status, leaders at the township level as the research object, which is considered as the middle agent of demand expressing mechanism, has double attributes of rural leader of the rural public goods for environmental protection.The conclusion is that China’s rural environmental public policy still needs further perfection. First, is to increase investment, especially the innovation of public finance engagement. Second, is to stick to and improve the government as the main supply mode, encourage market and village collective participate in supply. Third, is to strengthen the protection of the rural environment with ability construction of grass-roots organization. The fourth is to establish the public financial system. Fifth, strengthen the propaganda of rural cadres and peasants education.
