Research On Evaluation And Decision In Technology Innovation Project Of Enterprise Using DEA Methods

As a key link between the development of technology and the growth of economy, technological innovation has many important leaps-from scientific knowledge to technique knowledge, from technique knowledge to achievement in scientific research, from achievement in scientific research to manufacturing enterprises, from manufacturing enterprises to the ultimate consumers. There are many things with risk and uncertainty. The process of technological innovation is too complicated to sieve and to be eliminated. Therefore, technological innovation is a complicated social process with uncertainty.The concrete project of technological innovation is the basis of the national innovation system. One of the necessary conditions to set up the basis is to deal correctly with the evaluation and decision of the innovation project that need practical technology and method. This thesis sets up a new method that can evaluate the technological innovation projects of enterprise based on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) theory to help decision.The content of the thesis is divided into eight parts. The first part is introduction. The second part is the overview of the basic theories. The evaluation and decision system of the technological innovation project of enterprises is in the third part. The evaluation model on the innovation capability and technique selection is set forth separately in part four and part five. The risk evaluation method is put forward in the sixth part. The research on the method of investment decision is in part seven. In part eight, the research centralizes on the application of the models and methods of DEA. The primary mathematic method using in the thesis is DEA.In accordance with the relationship between generality and particularity, the thesis has carried on the research as follows:First, the basic content of evaluation and decision system in innovation project is put forward based on the definition on the technological innovationproject from the level of enterprises.Second, the research centralizes on the three parts, that is, the evaluation model on innovation capability, technique selection and risk using the method of DEA. It lays a foundation for the research in the thesis.Third, there are many uncertainty and problems during the course of the investment decision, therefore many methods and theories such as multi-objectives decision and entropy value are introduced in the method of DEA to ensure the accuracy of the results.The DEA research on the evaluation and decision of the technological innovation project confirms objectively the practical value and theoretical significance that lies in: (1) enhance the evaluation and decision level of technological innovation project; (2) enrich and consummate the management theories and methods of the technological innovation projects; (3) strengthen the competition capability of enterprise.
