Research On Intensive Use Of China's Urban Construction Land

To promotoe the intensive use of land and fully explore the potentialities of the urban construction used land is the key way of building an energy conserving and environmental friendly society. Guided by Maxist Political Economics, taking references of Land Economics, Population, Resources and Environment Economics, Quantitative Economics and Science of Overall Planning and other related theories, this paper analizes the historical process and development status quo of China's intensive use of urban construction used land, summerizes the achievements China has scored in intensively using land and its existing problems. Based on the successful experiences and practices of intensively using urban construction used land both at home and abroad, the paper proposes the fundamental principles for building an evaluation index system for the intensive use of urban construction used land, makes a profound analysis of the factors constituting the systems, including land use structure, land use profits and land use degree, establishes an evaluation index system for intensively use of urban construction used land. Taking consideration of the use structure of urban construction used land and the spacial layout of the construction used land, the potentiality of urban construction used land is divided into three types, and a simple, practical mathematical calculation mean for the potentiality of urban construction used land is adopted, to calculate the potentialities of intensive use of urban construction used land. The paper has made positive study of the intensive use of urban construction used land through the intensive use evaluation system and potentiality calculation means, put forward the counter policies and suggestions on China's urban construction used land.
