In modern military struggles and confrontations, it is radar that mainly performs a variety of vigilance tasks. Radar, as a warning method of long history and technology maturity, has many advantages, such as long detection distance, under any weather conditions and it can work all day long ,and so on. But with the advancement of the technology and the development of the anti-radar equipments, the disadvantages of the radar gradually appear. First, when radar works, it emits high power electromagnetic wave by its transmitter and antenna, this makes radar can be probed and disturbed by enemy, so it couldn't work well; secondly, it is easy to exposure itself and be attacked by enemy's precise weapons such as anti-radiation missile; thirdly, radar needs electromagnetic wave which is reflected from target to probe the target, but with the smaller and smaller area of the target, and smear special materials which can absorb electromagnetic wave on the surface of the target, makes electromagnetic which is reflected by target greatly reduced, therefore, it is difficult to detect targets and warning effectively when radar is facing this kind of invisible target.These disadvantages of radar force people to find other ways of warning. Owning to its advantages, passive infrared early warning has been widely recognized. In the passed 30 years, such technologies and equipments have been developing rapidly and applying widely in developed countries.In this paper , we do research on warning system of multi-spectral scanning , there are two purposes of this research , first ,we discuss the methods on warning system of multi-spectral scanning , and give guidance to realize the system . Second, we build up the experiment equipments of warning system of multi-spectral scanning, and carry out some experiments to verify the reference designs.Different from usual warning system of infrared scanning, in this paper, we use position control sensors which generate image , low speed around scanning to search the targets and swing scan to verify the targets , and then do researches on the key technologies that need to be solved .In order to realize big pitching sight and make it easier for data processing ,we use multi-spectral linear array sensors as assembly to gain information ; In order to realize precise pointing in the space , we use position controlled sensors to generate image ; we design and realize the image generate control in the infrared array TDI sensors under the work condition ; we do research on the background module and background prediction,inhibiting method, and bring up the background inhibiting method based on changeable areas. In order to detect the targets in the scanning image, we bring up a target detect and process method that combine the linear and surface scan based on the designed that combine the around scanning and swing scanning modes ; we bring up a self adaptive image division base on changeable area ,and point out how to calculate and choose the targets characters .Based on the former work we design an experimental system and complete the design of software and compile it , build up the hardware platform , and do some preparations on the relatively debugs , finally we do the experiments and test the system ,we verify the possibility of the design and method . We have build up the sample system , and the system already have the functions to detect the targets and make early warning.
