XXX Missile is one kind of missile that detects and destroys the enemy's radar by intercepting and capturing the electromagnetic wave transmitted by the radar. It is a"natural enemy"of radar. The common warning radar cannot detect the XXX Missile because of the missile's characters. Therefore, it is necessary to research and develop specific warning radar to detect XXX Missile. The main content in this paper is how to design and debug a warning radar signal processor based on the detection and recognition of XXX Missile. The features of XXX Missile and its echo-wave are discussed and the scattering features of XXX Missile is studied which aims to find an effective method to detect XXX Missile in this thesis. The structure of the warning radar system is put forward, and then the performance of the radar is analyzed. Key problems about XXX Missile detection and recognition are presented briefly. By using of ADSP- TS101 and FPGA, the radar signal processor is designed. The sequential control and logic control which include signals between processor and receiver, transmitter and T/R are achieved. In the section of software programming, the DSP programs including Pulse Compression, Pulse Integration, Constant False Alarm Rate, the recognition and track of XXX Missile are particularly recommended. Finally, further processing and analysis are performed for the acquired data during outfield experiments.
