Abstract/Summary:
At present,with the tense situation in local areas and the strengthening of national equipment competition,aircraft,missiles and other weapons and equipment has gotten rapid development,with faster speed and better concealment.So its rapid and accurate detection become the current urgent needs.The infrared warning system developed by infrared technology has the advantages of good concealment and strong anti-interference ability.And it has been paid more and more attention,which has some incomparable advantages over the radar.In this paper,based on an infrared omnidirectional warning system,the imaging mechanism can collect 360 ° omni-directional scene images.In order to achieve the incoming target monitoring and timely warning,a small target detection Algorithm and hardware platform must be developed to meet the system requirements,which can timely process the collected images,accurately detect the incoming target and real-timely display the target trajectory in the monitor,so as to provide reliable information for strategic decision-making.The infrared weak target detection is the key technology of the infrared omnidirectional warning system.The excellent performance will directly determine the detection probability of the infrared alarm system.Output frame frequency of the scanning imaging agencies used in the alarm system is very high.So it must have a higher real-time.Therefore,the complex airspace and time domain algorithm is not applicable to the system.Based on the analysis of the output image and the research of various background preprocessing algorithms,the mean variance of four regions around the pixel point is analyzed to find the target point and the edge point And the improved partial differential equation algorithm based on nonlinear space is proposed combined with the idea of nonlinear spatial filtering.The algorithm has a good effect on the background of low-altitude buildings,especially strong edge.Lots of threshold segmentation algorithms are compared,The improved otsu threshold segmentation method conducts as the weak target extraction algorithm used by the system.At last,with the help of continuous frame correlation method to eliminate false targets,the algorithm achieves the detection and tracking of small target.In this paper,based on the requirements of the warning system,DSP+FPGA board is analyzed and discussed as the core of the signal processing platform on the basis of the existing optical scanning imaging mechanism.Among this,the hardware architecture based on DSP TMS320C6455 is designed to implement the weak target detection and tracking algorithm.The debug and experimental results show that the infrared weak target detection algorithm and its DSP implementation method can run smoothly in the system can detect the target quickly and reliably and realize real-time tracking,and can draw the target trajectory in the display through the FPGA.
