It has always been the ultimate goal of developing the telecommunication networks to provide subscribers rich and colorful valued-added services.With technology and market development,the environment for providing valued-added services has become more and more complex.How to implement the goal of "service subscribers access any service univsersally and seamlessly anytime,anywhere and anyway" through valued-added service technologies emboding openness,intergration and personalization is a research focus in the communication domain.Service network intelligence is one of the concepts and technologies for resolving the problem.The research in this dissertation is focusing on the major work done by the author on service network intelligence and its key technologies which is conducted for the project "Research and application of service network intelligence"(No.60525110) supported by National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.The basic concept and requirement are presented,the framework structures of service network intelligence are prompted by stage, an evolutable universal service system architecture is established and its key technologies are analyzed,and the evolutionary of the intelligent network towards service network intelligence is studied.The principal contributions of the work presented in the thesis are:(1) The framework structures of service network intelligence are established.The basic structure is put forward based on the related frameworks of value-added service technologies;the three-stage network structures are proposed according to the three-stage evolutional requirements;and the basic model of service network intelligence of "user-centric" implemented at the third stage is given.(2) An evolutable service system constructing methodology is proposed based on the essence conceptural model of service network.Aiming at the telecommunication service network, the methodology can be used to guide the construction of the universal service system supporting service network intelligence.(3) The USSA(Universal Service System Architecture) applied to the current network environment is proposed to provide value-added services of telecommunication grade. Taking the universal message bus technology as the core,the USSA consists of the basic component sets and service component sets,which endow it the capability of building service platform fast and flexible,and the capability of upgrade and improvement.(4) A solution which is called IMNP(Integrated Mobile Network Portability) together with its complementary solution,IMNP-SMS(IMNP-Short Message Service),is researched and designed.Avoiding drastic alteration to existing networks,this solution can be applied to number portability over variable operators and heterogeneous networks(GSM,CDMA), route the calls and short messages destinated to the NP user correctly.The practicing stragety and evolution method of IMNP and IMNP-SMS are also considered.(5) The extension to the the specifications of IN(Intelligent Network) for IN-IMS(IP Multimedia Subsysteim) interworking is advised,including the interworking architecture, service trigger mode,protocol choosed occation,BCSM(Basic Call State Model ),and the extension to the C-INAP(China-Intelligent Network Application Part),IS-41 MAP(Mobile Application Part).The advisement can be used for IN service implementation in the convergent network based on the IMS.
