Manufacturing globalization and manufacturing based on network have become one of the primary trends in modern manufacturing industry and a research focus of modern manufacturing technology. To optimize the configuration of distributed manufacturing resources in the networked manufacturing environment effectively, a concept of the collaborative manufacturing chain is introduced. The collaborative manufacturing chain is a kind of networked manufacturing dynamic alliance which orients to the manufacturing process of parts, and it utilizes manufacturing service to encapsulate manufacturing resources and describe manufacturing capability. By the collaborative manufacturing chain, manufacturing services can be configured in terms of the parts' manufacturing process correctly. It is a new kind of networked manufacturing realization mode oriented to parts too. Focusing on rapid configuration of the collaborative manufacturing chain, this dissertation strengthens study on the theories and the key technologies.Based on classifying the mode of the networked manufacturing dynamic alliance, the definition of the collaborative manufacturing chain for the collaborative manufacturing process of complex parts is given. For analyzing the evolution process of the collaborative manufacturing chain, an extended directed acyclic graph is designed, the different phase in the evolution process of the collaborative manufacturing chain is analyzed in detail, the formalized model of the collaborative-oriented process plan, and the service-dependent process plan and the collaborative manufacturing chain are established. Then, this dissertation studies a platform named networked agile manufacturing platform which supports configurating and running the collaborative manufacturing chain. And that, the definition and system architecture of the platform is given; the function of the platform is distinguished; the working process of the platform is discussed.In order to resolve the presented problems such as manufacturing capability modeling and manufacturing task modeling in some manufacturing information websites and e-business websites, a modeling method about collaborative manufacturing task and manufacturing service is proposed, which is on the basis of ontology. According to above method, one Web ontology model for networked manufacturing is established by extending OWL-S ontology, which is named as the collaborative manufacturing ontology. For describing manufacturing task and manufacturing capability effectively, this dissertation constructs the descriptive model of collaborative manufacturing task and manufacturing service after researching manufacturing feature and collaborative manufacturing cell, and then an example about the semantic description of collaborative manufacturing task and manufacturing service is given.For searching manufacturing services efficiently and matching them to the collaborative manufacturing task, one mathematical model is presented; the restriction for searching manufacturing services is expatiated.
