China's Newspaper Industry Development Research

Newspaper industry economy is becoming an essential constituent of China'sindustrial economic system. To deal with the reform and development of newspaperindustry at a comprehensive scale is both a theoretical and practical problem callingfor immediate solution. From the perspective of communication theory, sociology, economics andsystematics, this thesis deals with, in depth, the following aspects including the lawsof newspaper industry, the interactive mechanism of newspaper and socialdevelopment, newspaper economic activities. Based on the above, this thesis alsocomes up with new theoretical frameworks for newspaper industry developments, andmakes analyses in terms of operation concepts and mechanisms of newspaper industry.It makes thorough analyses and comprehensive descriptions of the cause-effectrelationship of the system of newspaper industry, does comprehensive researches onthe classification of subsystems, the selection of system variations, cause-effectrelationship model and main circuit analysis, and accurately describes the dynamicmechanism of the system of newspaper industry. This thesis also analyzes thestructural framework and operation mechanism of system of newspaper group, itscause-effect relationship and feedback circuit, establishes the flow chart and structuralformula for simulation analysis, and does empirical researches on system simulation. This thesis is obviously innovative in the following aspects: establishing the newtheoretical framework for newspaper industry operation. Under socialist marketeconomy and with correct propaganda orientation and innovative operation concept,newspaper industry operation in China will make reasonable allocation and optimizedintegration of resources, assets and capital by means of scientific marketing operation,probe into its present and potential resources, optimize economic structure ofnewspaper industry, and set up comprehensive operation mechanism so as to improvethe core competence of newspaper industry, and realize its substantial developments.This thesis makes a description of the system of newspaper industry by systemdynamics, researches on ways to reflect the operation mechanism of newspapersystem from a quantitative perspective, observes the acting attributes of the system,locates the lever function point of the feedback circuit and policy which play a majorrole in the system, and thus provides the government with evidence for industrypolicy making and the enhancement of the healthy development of the system ofnewspaper industry. This thesis makes researches on the operation state andmechanism of the system of newspaper group, sets up its cause-effect variation chart,finds out the key factors that influence the operation state of the system of newspapergroup by the interaction of feedback circuit and its effect on the overall system, andthen builds the system dynamics simulation model for newspaper group. By means ofsystem simulation, and under the guidance of operation theory of newspaper industry,this thesis makes empirical analyses of Hebei Newspaper Group and offers valuableproposals. This thesis makes researches on the key issues in the reform of China'snewspaper industry, poses theories and measures for solutions, which are of greattheoretical and practical values to the reform of the system of China's newspaperindustry.
