Research On International Trade Of Xinjiang Agricultural Products In The Open Condition

In recent years, the percentage of Xinjiang agricultural trade volume accounting for the total trade volume of Xinjiang and agricultural trade volume in China is not large and has downward trend, which shows that the advantage of agricultural trade in Xinjiang has not been exploited to the full. Domestic and international experience shows that the level of development of agricultural trade is an important indicator to measure the extent of agricultural modernization in a country or a region. Therefore, the research of Xinjiang agricultural trade development under the background of "One Belt and One Road" will see its practical and theoretical value.Based on literature review, comprehensive and systematic analysis has been made about Xinjiang agricultural trade development. Firstly, this thesis introduces classical trade theories and the relevant literature about Xinjiang agricultural trade to find out suitable methods. Secondly the paper uses Xinjiang agricultural trade data in 2013 and 2014 to study the present situation, structure and characteristics of development of Xinjiang agricultural trade to grasp the latest development situation of Xinjiang agricultural trade, and to find out Xinjiang’s major trading partners and agricultural products with advantages. It calculates the comparative advantage of Xinjiang agricultural products separately and make analysis and evaluation on the major crops and livestock products thru the classical comparative theories and analysis methods. And then it analyses the competitiveness of Xinjiang livestock and crop production areas using factor analysis with smoothness verification to further clarify the strengths and weaknesses of agricultural production in each regions of Xinjiang. The paper also makes comprehensive analysis on Xinjiang agricultural trade advantages using the Diamond Model and SWOT Model. Besides, the paper studies on open new pattern and development strategy in Xinjiang on the macro level, and analyzes how Xinjiang agricultural services adapt to the new economic normality of China initiatively in the open new pattern background, and proposes new strategic positioning combining with practical experience to develop new ideas and new strategic position. At last, it summarizes the whole paper and puts forward the general idea and suggestions for the future development of Xinjiang agricultural trade as follows:(1)Continue to deepen the reform of agricultural trade services, open and expand the agricultural trade region orderly.(2)To further improve taxation policies to support agricultural trade service provision, to play taxation leveraged role.(3)To innovate financing methods and expand financing channels, establish a sound system of financial services for agricultural trade.(4)To guarantee effective creation of agricultural intellectual property services, improve protection of agricultural services.(5)To strengthen agricultural trade service personnel training, establish service team with characteristics for Xinjiang agricultural trade.(6)To strengthen the construction of basic infrastructure in agricultural trade, to enhance the integration of agricultural trade service innovation.(7)To accelerate the pace of development of agricultural trade policies and regulations and build sound agricultural trade policies and regulations.This study emphasizes the integration of theory with practice, and puts forward effective countermeasures combined with the latest policy background to promote speed and quality of agricultural trade in Xinjiang. In strategy pattern of "One Belt and One Road", advantages like geographic advantage of Xinjiang, natural resource endowments, the reality of the basic conditions and future trends make the Xinjiang’s core area position in the "One Belt and One Road". Xinjiang is bound to play critical role in the "One Belt and One Road ". Xinjiang agricultural trade will be able to play its ability to the full as the strategic frontier to connect China with the country along "One Belt and One Road" to process policy communication, roads unblocked and trade flow.
