In the past ten years,China's international trade has achieved remarkable results, and the high-tech industry's commodity trade has been growing at an alarming rate. The characteristics of high-tech industries are knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive.Therefore,the technological gap is an important factor affecting the international trade of high-tech industries.Under the initiative of the One Belt and One Road strategy,China actively promotes trade cooperation with high-tech industries along the countries. However, due to the differences in economic scale, political system and R&D,the development of high-tech industries in countries along the One Belt and One Road is quite different, and the technological gap between China and “Belt and Road” countries is different, which in turn affects the international high-tech industry in China and the countries along the route. Therefore,I will study on the impact of the gap between China's high-tech industrial technology along the “Belt and Road” countries on international trade, and thus promotes the international trade of China's high-tech industries.Based on the literature research, this article analyzes the state of high-tech industrial technology development and international trade in China and countries along the “One Belt and One Road” from 2007 to 2016.The results show that there are significant differences in the development of high-tech industries in countries along the “One Belt and One Road” approach, and the differences have first decreased and then expanded.Next,by constructing a fixed-effects model of panel data,we empirically analyzed the impact of the gap in China's high-tech industrial technology along the “One Belt and One Road” country on international trade and the impact of technology gaps based on subdivided industries on international trade. The results show that the technological gap between China and the countries can significantly promote international trade, and the promotion effects in different segments of high-tech industries are different. Finally,in light of the case study of Sino-Thai Hi-Tech Industries, the paper proposes countermeasures and recommendations and draws the conclusions.
