Therapy group was given Risperidone and Invigorating Spleen and Kidney, Patients in control group were treated by Risperidone and Kidney tonifying decoctionfor 12 weeks. Evaluation was conducted before the treatment and at 4, at 8 and 12 weeks after treatment, using Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS). SPSS 13.0 software are applied to deal with all the data. Multiple-factor repetitive measurement and analysis of variance were performed for the total score of Positive and Negative Syndrome of PANSS.Results:To total score ot Positive symptom scale, for the treatment group or the control group, there were significant differences before and after treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups. In the treatment group or the control group, for the negative symptom scale, there were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment, and there was significant difference between the two groups during the 12 weeks, the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. Sub scale scores of the various negative symptom, treatment or control group, have significant difference before and after treatment in both groups, and at the end of the 12 weeks, treatment group of emotional withdrawal, lack of spontaneity and flow of conversation, stereotyped thinking are better than the control group, especially in the treatment group,4,8 and 12 weeks of poor rapport better than the control group.Conclusions:This shows that Method of invigorating spleen and kidney better than simple tonifying the kidney on the negative symptoms of patients with schizophrenia more comprehensive improvement.
