From April, 2005 to April, 2007, Author has carried on investigationing and collecting, and vegetation investigation all-round and systematically many times to Changdao, altogether gathers 1,082 portions of specimen. After to the specimen appraisal and quarters data analysis, the vascular plants flora and community structure are analyzed on emphasis, the main result as follows:1. Changdao has the wild vascular plants to have 510 species belonging to 294 genera in 86 families (to contain grades of lower species), 6 species of fern belonging to 5 genera in 5 families, 3 species of gymnosperm belonging to 3 genera in 3 families, dicotyledon plants have 394 species in 220 genera of 66 families, monocotyledon plants have 107 species in 66 genera of 12 families.1 new species, 2 new varieties are found, 2 genera and 19 species belonging to Shandong province new records.2. The analysis into families genera and species of wild seed plants in Changdao indicates that the area has typical characteristics, complex geographica compenent, a great variety of flora types, very obvious preponderant phenomena, some ancient origin, more coastal plants. The flora unique phenomenon of the area is not obvious in genera level. And compares with neighboring seed plants area. The composition of Raunkiaer's life-form is arranged, Hemicrytophytes>Phanerophytes>Therophytes>Cryptophytes>Chamaephytes.3. 12 typical forest communities have 106 species altogether. The vertical structure of community may divide into the tree layers, the bush layer and the herb layer 3 layers. The diversity of quarter 6, quarter 4, quarter 2 and quarter 3 is higher, the diversity of quarter 12, quarter 10 and quarter 5 is lower, this has close relationship with the community structure and the habitat. And have analysed on quarter communities flora, leaf forms and life forms.Comparing with neighboring tree layer, bush layer and herb layer shows: the herb layer's contribution to community diversity is maximal, and do notable t-test. Divides 12 typical forest communities into the Pinus thunbergii forest, the Robina pseudoacacia forest, the Quercus acutissima forest, the Pinus thunbergii-Robina pseudoacacia- Quercus forest 4 types of forest types, comparing with the species diversity shows that the difference of the species diversity index among different community to advance along with succession and development of the community, but the species diversity of the most stable community is not highest. In the end, the succession order of plant community in Changdao has been discussed. 4.The main vegetation type of Changdao including the coniferous forest, the deciduous broad-leaved forest, the needle-leaved and broad-leaved mixed forest, the shrub, the shrub and grass, the halophytic vegetation, the psammophytic vegetation.5.The wild decorative plant resources of Changdao has 194 species belonging to 155 genera in 62 families, auther has carried on the classification according to viewing and admiring characteristic; and put forward the feasible proposal on using of the decorative plant resources. Other economic wild plants may be divided into the edible plants, the medicinal plants, the fiber plants, the starch and contain the carbohydrate plants, the oil plants, the fragrant oil plants and so on 6 big kinds.6. The invasive plants of Changdao have 51 species belonging to 41 genera in 24 families, and it may be divided into 3 kinds according to the harm degree, and proposed the concrete preventing and controlling countermeasure aiming at the different harm degree and the different species. Finally, the paper goes into the strategies on the protection and management with man-made forest and secondary forest, and proposed some feasible proposals on its landscape transformation.
