Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of plum blossom acupuncture interspersed with ginger percussion therapy in the treatment of liver and kidney deficiency type of baldness based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, and to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of baldness. Methods: Using the random number table method,72 patients with liver and kidney deficiency type baldness were randomly divided into treatment and control groups according to their order of consultation. The treatment group was treated with plum blossom acupuncture percussion therapy and the control group was treated with traditional plum blossom acupuncture therapy, with every 10 days as a course of treatment, once a day,and the results were observed after 3 consecutive courses of treatment.By comparing the four aspects of DLQI score, skin lesion score, efficacy evaluation and TCM evidence score before and after treatment, and using SPSS27.0 for statistical analysis, the difference between before and after treatment and its effectiveness were observed.Results:(1)Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in age, gender, disease duration,TCM evidence score, skin lesion score and DLQI score between the two groups(P>0.05),which were comparable.(2)Chinese medicine syndrome score: after 3 courses of treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome score decreased in both groups, and there was a significant difference(P<0.01),and the treatment was effective in both groups;comparing between groups,it was suggested that the Chinese medicine syndrome score decreased more significantly in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group at the later follow-up(P<0.05).(3)Skin lesion scores: After 3 courses of treatment, the skin lesion scores of both groups decreased, with significant differences(P < 0.01),and both groups were effective;comparing between groups,it was suggested that the skin lesion scores of the treatment group decreased more significantly and were better than those of the control group(P <0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group at the later follow-up(P <0.01).(4)DLQI score: After 3 courses of treatment, the DLQI scores of both groups decreased, and there was a significant difference(P < 0.01),both groups were effective;comparing between groups,it was suggested that the DLQI score of the treatment group decreased more significantly and was better than that of the control group(P < 0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group at the later follow-up(P < 0.01).(5)Clinical efficacy: after 3 courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 93.94% in the treatment group and 84.38% in the control group, and the total effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.01);at the follow-up 3months after the end of treatment, the total effective rate was 90.91% in the treatment group and 78.13% in the control group, and the total effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Both the treatment group and the control group were effective in treating liver and kidney deficiency type of baldness, the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the long-term efficacy of the treatment group was better.2.In terms of TCM evidence points, skin lesion scores and DLQI scores in both groups, the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of the improvement of evidence and skin lesions as well as the improvement of patients’ quality of life, and the long-term efficacy was better. |
