ObjectiveIn this randomized controlled study, we observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of premenopausal syndrome (kidney yin deficiency type) by acupuncture with plum-blossom needle therapy on the Urinary Bladder Channel line 1 and ordinary acupuncture. To investigate objective mechanism of plum-blossom needle therapy on the Urinary Bladder Channel line 1 permenopausal syndrome and provide reliable scientific basis for clinical.MethodAccording to the clinical diagnostic standard and testing inclusion criteria,60 patients with permenopausal syndrome (kidney yin deficiency type) were randomly divided into two group. Both groups received the same acupuncture. Acupuncture point selection:EX-HN1ã€EX-HN3ã€CV24ã€CV4ã€St25ã€Pc6ã€St36〠Sp6ã€LR3ã€Ki3. The treatment group was treated with plum-blossom needle tapping on the Urinary Bladder Channel line 1 on the basis of routine acupuncture. The patients of both groups received treatment three times a week for four weeks for three month. After 1 course, through the modified Kupperman scale score and TCM symptom score changes to determine therapeutic effect. Package for statistical analysis using statistical software SPSS19.0.Results1. After the treatment, two groups both had significant clinical efficacy. 30 patients of treatment group were cured in 3cases,19cases with the markedly efficiency,7 cases efficiency and 1 case without effect. There were 1 cases cured,9 cases markedly effective,17 cases effective and 3 cases without effect in the 30 patients of control group. The obvious effective rate of treatment group was 96.67% and the control group is 90.00%(P<0.01)2. After the treatment, the Kupperman scores in both treatment group and control group were decreased, comparing with them before the treatment. The treatment group showed more advantages in decreased Kupperman scores. There was a significant difference (P<0.01).3. According to the kidney yin deficiency type syndromes analysis, two groups were markedly and significantly better than the pre-treatment score; Comparison of efficacy between the two groups, the treatment group was significantly better than control group (P<0.01)ConclusionsUsing plum-blossom needle therapy combine with routine acupuncture is a effective method to treat permenopausal syndrome (kidney yin deficiency type), which can obviously improve permenopausal syndrome patients’clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes. Preliminary evidence that plum needle on Urinary Bladder Channel line lean improve the clinical effect of treatment of the disease. |
