Objective:To observe the intervention effect of "Siming point" massage technique on naked eye vision,diopter and axial length of children with low myopia,and to explore its safety,effectiveness and stability in the treatment of this disease.Methods:66 children with low myopia were divided into two groups according to the principle of randomized control.The trial group(33 cases,63 eyes)was treated with "Siming point" massage technique and the control group(33 cases,64 eyes)was wearing monofocal frame glasses.Both groups were given pre-group education to guide scientific eye use and eye exercises.Record the changes of uncorrected far vision,diopter,axial length and axial growth before and after intervention,compare the therapeutic effect of the two methods.Results:(1)General data analysis:There was no statistic significance in gender,age,uncorrected distance vision,diopter and axial length between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).(2)Total effective rate:After the intervention,the total effective rate of the "Siming point "massage technique group was 95.1%,the wearing monofocal frame glasses group was 51.6%.There exists notable differences between the two groups(P<0.01).(3)Comparison of naked far visionand:Compared within the group,the two groups after intervention and before intervention,follow-up period and after intervention were significant differencet(P<0.01);The comparison of uncorrected distance visual acuity and difference between the two groups after intervention and follow-up period showed that the ’Siming point’ massage technique group was superior to the monofocal frame glasses group(P<0.01).(4)Diopter comparison:Compared within the group,the two groups after intervention and before intervention,follow-up period and after intervention were notable differencet(P<0.01);the after intervention and follow-up period comparisons between the two groups showed that the "Siming point" massage technique group was better(P<0.01);The diopter difference between the two groups after intervention showed that the ’Siming point’ massage technique group was superior to the wearing of monofocal frame glasses group(P<0.01);There was no significant difference in diopter between the two groups during the follow-up period(P>0.05).(5)Axial comparison:Compared within the group,the two groups after intervention and before intervention,follow-up period and after intervention were notable differencet(P<0.01);the difference of axial length between the two groups after intervention and follow-up period showed no significant statistical difference(P>0.05);There was a significant difference in the axial growth between the two groups at 3 months(P<0.01).Conclusion:On the basis of scientific eye use and eye exercises,the results intervented "Siming point "massage technique treatment group was significantly better than the control group wearing frame glasses;from the follow-up after 1 month,the stability of the efficacy of the "Siming point" massage technique treatment group was also significantly better than that of the control group wearing frame glasses,"Siming point" massage technique can improve the uncorrected distant vision of children with low myopia and delay the development of diopter and axial length,It’s effective and stable in the treatment of low myopia in children,which deserves energetical promotion and popularization in clinical medicine. |
