Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Children With Ametropic Amblyopia By ’Siming Point’ Amblyopia Massage Technique

Objective : The purpose of this study is to observe the efficacy of‘Siming point’ amblyopia massage technology in the treatment of ametropic amblyopia through clinical research,to provide clinical research data for the prevention and treatment of amblyopia by ‘Siming point’ amblyopia massage technology,and to provide an effective and easy-to-promote massage optimization scheme for the treatment of amblyopia in children.Methods : 62 patients with ametropic amblyopia aged 4～12 years were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with ‘Siming point’ amblyopia massage technique,and the control group was treated with optical correction and occlusion therapy.The changes of visual acuity and visual function indexes in the two groups were contrasted.Results : The overall effective rate of the treatment group was 93.75 %,and that of the control group was 70 %.There was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In terms of the improvement of visual acuity,the naked eye visual acuity improved in both groups after treatment and the improvement in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group,the difference of which was statistically significant(P<0.05);the visual acuity of the treatment group increased by 2 lines or more after the first massage treatment,reaching 90.6 %.In terms of the improvement of binocular visual function,the number of cases with improved visual function in the treatment group was more than that in the control group,and the number of cases with invalid visual function in the treatment group was less than that in the control group,and there was significant difference in the improvement of visual function between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion : The overall curative effect of ‘Siming point’ amblyopia massage in the treatment of refractive amblyopia is better than that of simple mirror covering treatment,especially in the improvement of visual acuity.After the first massage treatment,most patients’ visual acuity will be improved,and no adverse reactions.Compared with simple glasses and occlusion therapy,‘Siming point’ amblyopia massage therapy can better promote fusion function and stereopsis recovery.
