Boarding school is a special school-running mode to adapt to the characteristics of dispersed population,especially in rural and mountainous areas,to solve the difficulties of students going to school far away,and to ensure that school-age children and adolescents complete compulsory education.The state attaches great importance to the management of students in rural boarding schools.Since the beginning of the last century,rural boarding schools have been built and developed.Rural boarding schools not only solve the problems of long distance between students in rural areas and lack of guarantee of learning and safety,but also play a more effective role in integrating educational resources.Because of the unique sociality of rural boarding schools,their development has met new challenges and opportunities in the period of rapid social transformation.With the closed management of rural boarding schools and the long time of students in the school,the school has become an extremely important place in the process of students' socialization,which bears the responsibility of students' education and management.However,due to the absence of family education,the pressure of school management and other factors,the development of students in rural boarding schools can' t receive comprehensive attention,and the needs of students can' t be effectively met.There are problems of physical and mental health,social adaptation and campus bullying among students in rural boarding schools.These specific needs of students' development in boarding schools are difficult to support by traditional school education means alone,and front-line teachers are also under great pressure besides undertaking basic teaching tasks.From the situation of rural boarding schools and the requirements of the state,it is a realistic need and development direction for social workers to enter schools in the future.From the perspective of social work and using qualitative research methods,this study takes social work service projects carried out by four rural boarding schools in F and M districts of B city as the research object.Through questionnaire survey,intervention service,in-depth interviews with school leaders,teachers and students,it obtains first-hand information about the social adaptation of students in rural boarding schools.This study studies the social adaptation status,service demand and intervention of rural boarding school students,and puts forward some reasonable suggestions for the effect and problems of the intervention process.To understand the living conditions,learning conditions and growth needs of students in rural boarding schools,to identify effective educational measures that meet the needs and characteristics of students in rural boarding schools,and to provide suggestions for young social workers to enter schools to carry out in-depth services.The study finds that in learning adaptation,students are mainly faced with unmet personalized learning needs and limited knowledge development,insufficient internal motivation of students' learning;problems in life adaptation are mainly reflected in students' unmet psychological needs,insufficient free time and lack of supervision of extracurricular life;in interpersonal relationship adaptation and special situation adaptation,students' table There are some problems,such as insufficient communication and cooperation,withdrawal in interpersonal communication and unresolved negative emotions.Combining with the group activities on self-efficacy,emotional management,interpersonal communication and campus belonging,this study puts forward relevant service suggestions.
