Objective To investigate the standardized training of resident doctors in collaborative hospital training base, including the implementation of standardized training process, residents' satisfaction with and cognition of standardized training, analyze the existing problems, and discuss some improvement measures. Methods Questionnaire survey was conducted among residents of 3 collaborative hospital training bases in Suzhou city, and the survey data were analyzed. Results There were 172 resident doctors in the questionnaire,91.86%of them believed that standardized training was an indispensable and important part in the growth of doctors, and 98.84%of them believed that standardized training was helpful to improve their ability.95.93%of residents thought that the rotation department and schedule of the subject training standard were reasonable,72.09%of residents managed 5 or more beds in clinical departments during rotation,64.54%and 60.47%of residents thought that the number of cases, operation items and opportunities of the training department in collaborative hospital met the training standards of 80%or more,42.44%and 22.09%of residents lacked the opportunity to take part in scientific research and teaching during training.Residents believe that the main factors affecting the quality of standardized training are patient resources and the teaching ability of teachers in the training base, and that the primary factors affecting the positive and active training are income treatment and guarantee.Residents' satisfaction with the overall training teaching and management of the collaborative hospital base was 8.23±1.53,with a satisfaction rate of 86.05%.The teaching satisfaction for teachers was 8.57±1.25 to 8.79±1.19.The satisfaction score of monthly income level was 5.16±2.45,and the satisfaction rate was 30.81%.The analysis of relevant factors showed that the age, sex, educational background and training major of resident doctors had no significant influence on the overall satisfaction of standardized training. The satisfaction with the standardized training of the residents entrusted by the other hospital was lower than that of residents of the training base hospital, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Residents with higher satisfaction with monthly income and treatment showed higher satisfaction with standardized training, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Standardized resident training in collaborative hospitals in Suzhou has been carried out in a standardized way and has achieved some effects. There are some deficiencies in the construction and training management of the collaborative hospitals, the coordination mechanism and specific measures between collaborative hospital and national training base has not been standardized, and the income treatment and personnel category of resident doctors affect the satisfaction degree of standardized training. The collaborative hospital should further strengthen the base construction and training management, adjust the management mechanism with the national training base, focus on the standardized training objective and pay attention to the comprehensive quality training of resident doctors, adjust and improve the income treatment of resident doctors, explore of unified personnel category management model for resident doctors, which may promote the improvement of standardized training quality.
