Purpose:Through investigation and research into the present situation of resident standardized training base in Liaoning Province,this essay addresses the existing problems in the process of residential training and analyzes the main influencing factors,and puts farwords the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,which promoting the Development and Perfection of the Standardized Training Base for Residents in Liaoning Province in order to better train excellent medical talents.Methods:Through literature research,we know about the policies,regulations and development process of standardized resident training.Through questionnaire survey,we investigate the basic situation of resident training bases in Liaoning Province,which involves general description of survey data from 26 resident standardized training bases,42 collaborative units,797 professional bases in Liaoning Province,14131 instructors and10381 residential trainees.Questionnaires and in-depth interviews were conducted among residents and teachers,health authorities,hospital management specialists and staff in charge of departments in base hospitals.All statistical analyses were performed using SAS9.3(SAS Institute Inc.,Cary,NC,USA)software.Results:1.Sixty-eight resident standardized training bases in Liaoning Province met the national training requirements in terms of basic conditions,organization and management,training quality and safeguards.In 2018,the passing rate of residential training and graduation assessment in Liaoning Province was 86.4%,which was lower than the national average level.2.There are currently 797 residential training professional bases in Liaoning Province,covering all 34 professional categories.The actual enrollment and the demand for new trainees are less than the approved capacity of that year.For five consecutive years,Five specialties in short supply have completed the standardized resident training and enrollment task issued by the state.3.There are currently 14131 instructors in residential training bases in Liaoning Province.They meet the training requirements in terms of academic qualifications,professional titles,qualified certification rate of residential training teachers,and have sufficient physical and mental qualities.They possess good professional skills,but there are some shortcomings in teaching skills,fulfilling training duties andfulfilling teaching tasks.4.From 2016 to 2018,a total of 10381 resident doctors were trained in Liaoning Province.The age of trainees was gradually lower,and they consist of mainly undergraduate medical students.5.Some specialist postgraduates are diverted to training bases of non-university hospitals to complete training and learning.There is a gap between the income of specialist postgraduates and residential trainees.Conclusion: 1.The standardized training organization of resident doctors in Liaoning Province is well-established and the management mechanism is becoming more and more mature.However,there are some problems in the implementation of policy system and management ability.Further steps should be taken in order to improve the management system of training base as well as the quality of training.2.The number and annual capacity of professional bases have exceeded the training demand,therefore the supply and demand of training should be clarified,and the number and annual capacity of professional bases should be set more rationally.3.There are differences in the teaching techniques of instructors.A dynamic management system for instructors is to be established,as well as improve the incentive mechanism for teaching,perfect the training courses for teachers,build a standardized,homogeneous and high-quality teaching staff,and gradually achieve certificated induction.4.The collaborative work between medical and teaching is to be further promoted,and rationally match the enrollment scale of professional master's degree postgraduates and the capacity of training bases,as well as make good links with residential trainees in terms of training content,rotation management and student treatment.
