Purpose1.To investigate the current situation of nurses' perceived professional benefits and self-efficacy of a tertiary general hospital in Wuhan.2.Analyze the differences between nurses' perceived professional benefits and self-efficacy in general demographic characteristics,and the correlation between nurses' perceived professional benefits and self-efficacy,so that nursing managers can raise awareness of the cognitive level of the nurses' perceived professional benefits,then take relevant interventions to improve the self-efficacy and occupational mental health of nurses,thereby reducing the turnover rate of nurses and stabilizing the nursing team.MethodIn this study,the self-made General Data Questionnaire,Nurses' Perceived Professional Benefits Scale compiled by Hu Jing,Self-Efficacy Scale compiled by Professor Ralf Schwarzer and his colleagues,revised by Wang Caikang and others were used as survey tools.A 373 nurses were conveniently selected for a site survey at a tertiary general hospital in Wuhan.Using SPSS 20.0,Excel 97-2003 and double entry to analyze the data.General Data Questionnaire,Nurses' Perceived Professional Benefits Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale's total score,equalization of each dimension use frequency,percentage,mean,standard deviation and other parameters to have a descriptive statistical analysis.Using t-test or analysis of variance to conduct single factor analysis about nurses' perceived professional benefits and self-efficacy.Correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the effects of nurses' perceived professional benefit and general demographic characteristics on self-efficacy.Result1.Current status and influencing factors of nurses' perceived professional benefitsIn this survey,the total score of nurses' perceived professional benefits was 136.62±17.79 points,and the standardized score was 4.02±0.523 points.The five dimensions of active occupational awareness,harmonious nurse-patient relationship,family and friends identification,sense of team belonging and self-growth were respectively 28.96±5.19 points,26.40±3.32 points,23.47±4.16 points,24.09±3.71 points,33.69±4.54 points,the standardized scores were respectively 3.62±0.649 points,4.40±0.553 points,3.91±0.693 points and 4.02±0.618 points,4.21±0.568 points.There was a difference in the level of nurse's perceived professional benefits among nurses of different working years,job title,position,monthly income and the monthly average night shift.2.Current status and influencing factors of nurses' self-efficacyIn this survey,the total score of nurses' self-efficacy was 2.53±0.54.Among the 10 items of nurse self-efficacy,the highest score item was “If I try my best,I can always solve the problem”,the score is 2.995±0.744 points,the lowest score is "for me,adhering to the ideal and achieving the goal is easy",the score is 2.091±0.801 points,and there were differences in nurses' self-efficacy levels among different department,employment form,and nurse's perceived professional benefits.3.Correlation between nurses' perceived professional benefits and self-efficacy.In this study,the nurses' self-efficacy was positively correlated with the nurses' perceived professional benefit(R=0.402,P<0.05).Conclusion1.In this study,the nurses' perceived professional benefits was at the uppermiddle level.In five dimensions,the harmonious nurse-patient relationship has the highest score,and the active occupational awareness score is the lowest,and working years,job title,position,monthly income,and the monthly average night shift have a significant impact on the level of nurses' perceived professional benefit.2.In this study,nurses' self-efficacy was at a medium level,and the nurses' perceived professional benefit,employment form and department have a significant impact on the nurses' self-efficacy.3.In this study,the nurses' self-efficacy was positively correlated with the nurses' perceived professional benefit,that is,the higher the level of nurses' perceived professional benefits,the higher the level of nurses' self-efficacy.
