Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the perceived professional benefits and its relationship with psychological capital and workplace stressor among clinical nurses in Shi Jia Zhuang.By analyzing the inner and outer influence factors on perceived professional benefits,the research was deigned to offer solid prove and reference to nurses' career development and nursing human resource management on the base of positive psychology.Methods:A cross-sectional method was designed to use the current generally accepted questionairs to test nurses' Perceived Professional Benefits,Psycological Capital and workplace stressor.Database was set up with SPSS17.0 software and descriptive statistic including constituent ratio,M±SD(Mean±Standard Deviation),multivariate regression analysis were used.Results:600 questionnaire had been delivered while 526(87.67%)turning back.The effective questionnaires is 495,with general information the efficiency of 82.50%.1 The nurses' perceived professional benefit tested from the participants is at a satisfactory level with total score of 121.37±18.32 mm;Each dimension score(mean score in each dimension)are as follow: positive professional perception 21.46±3.45(3.32±0.57),team belonging 21.67±3.14(3.79±0.51),recognition from families and friends 28.32±3.76(3.58±0.88),personal growth25.56±4.23(3.87±0.86),and good relationship between nurses and patients25.45±3.54(3.85±0.79).Based on average mean score for each dimension,personal growth scores the highest,positive perceived benefit scores the lowest.2 Average Psychological capital total score in the participants is107.88±11.36 points;Each dimension entries are as following: Hope4.54±0.33,Optimistic 4.52±0.21,Toughness 4.32±0.63,Self-efficacy4.56±0.56.3 Average score of participants' job stressors scale is 88.34±7.85,the average dimension entries are as following: time allocation and workload problem 2.84±0.53 points,patient care issues 2.78±0.38 points,nursing profession and work problems of 2.63±0.46 points,work environment and resource problems 2.38±0.46 points,management and interpersonal aspects2.31±0.32 points.4 Multiple regression analysis shows that specialized certification,title,clinical teaching,total score of psychological capital are positive factors to perceived professional benefit;while the total score of job stressors are negative predictors to perceived professional benefit.Conclusions:1 Participants in our study showed above medium level of perceived professional benefit as tested in previous study,the sequences of five dimension from high to low is personal growth,good relationship between nurses and patients,team belonging,recognition from families and friends,positive professional perception.2 Participants in our research show medium level on nurses psychological capital.The sequences of four dimension from high to low is Self-efficacy,Hope,Optimistic,Toughness.3 The overall level of work stressor scored medium level;the main pressure source from high to low is time allocation and workload problems,patient care problems,nursing profession and work problems,work environment and resource issues and problems on management and interpersonal relations.4 This study shows that specialized certificate,title,and clinical teaching can promote the nurses' perceived professional benefit.Working pressure is not conducive to promote the nurse professional benefit level.Thus offers the solid evidence that clinical nursing managers should play an active role onnurses' career development by improving peripheral resources,producing positive psychology to promote the external conditions.Encourage attention should be laid on clinical nurses' psychological capital,to promote the nurses sense of career development and perceived professional benefit.
