Constructing A Clinical Practice Pattern For Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree

Objective:The purpose of the study was to investigate the specialized establishment and the current status of clinical practice among clinical nursing postgraduate students,meanwhile,analyzing a series of problems existing in the clinical practice of graduate students and on this basis,constructing the Clinical Practice Patterns with Chinese characteristics for Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree.In order to provide some objective reference for medical universities training and educating Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree,to improve the level of nursing education and enhance the quality of clinical nursing,ultimately,to further promote the development of nursing care delivery in our country.Objects of Study:Collecting university enrollment prospectus,speciality list and research direction of tutor about Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree(code 1054)in 2016,analyzing the current situation of specialized establishment in China.Selecting 76 clinical nursing postgraduate students from 8 universities,analyzing the current status of clinical practice among clinical nursing postgraduate students by questionnaire survey.According to experts selection criteria,considering regional differences,expert representative,diversity in the field of study,and ultimately selecting 28 nursing experts to take part in the expert consultation.They involve nursing education,nursing management,emergency nursing,and nursing research of 4 areas,involving 12 medical universities and third-grade class-A hospitals.Methods:1.To analyze the current situation of specialized establishment in China by collecting university enrollment prospectus,speciality list and research direction of tutor about Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree(code 1054)in 2016.2.To investigate the current status and the existing problems of clinical practice among clinical nursing postgraduate students by the literature method,semi-structured interviews,and questionnaire survey.3.To preliminarily construct the Clinical Practice Patterns for Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree by the literature method,semi-structured interviews.4.Delphi method is used to screen and modify index system.5.Excel 2003 and SPSS software 17.0 are used to analyze and process the date.Results:1.In the 86 colleges and universities which recruit Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree,20 schools made it clear that dose not distinguish between the research direction,10 schools' research direction is only the application and research of clinical nursing skills or the training and research of clinical nursing skills;In the 56 colleges and universities which distinguish between the research direction,including 10 colleges and universities research direction is nursing education,nursing management,clinical nursing and community care,etc.These are general direction.The rest of 46 schools will refine professional direction for surgical nursing,medical nursing,emergency nursing,etc.This is in agreement on training objectives of Master of Nursing Specialist prescribed by the state council.2.All postgraduates of professional degree take part in the clinical practice,training hospitals are third-grade class-A hospitals.Most schools' clinical practice patterns are general rotation,in the other words,no one rotary department according to the research direction of the postgraduates.About the research direction,32.89% of postgraduates choose clinical nursing,9 postgraduates choose emergency nursing among these students;42.11% of postgraduates' total time of clinical practice within 12 months,the time is too little;42.11% of postgraduates' practice contents and requirements are not clearly stipulated;the level of clinical teachers vary greatly,and the teaching way is no difference between postgraduates and undergraduates,in the end,this is difficult to meet the learning demand of the postgraduates;the examination assessment is single,lacking unified standard.3.The retrieving rates of two-round questionnaire were 90.32% and 100%respectively,in the other words,the enthusiasm and the support of experts for the study is high;the authoritative coefficients were 0.879,which indicates that the experts' judgment and prediction are based on the theoretical basis and practical experiences;the coordination coefficients were 0.314(c 2=1370.602,P<0.01),Suggesting the coordination of experts predict is good.According to the screening criteria(each index mean?3.5,out of more than?0.20,coefficient of variation?0.25),and combined with the opinions of experts,screening and modifying indicators,after two rounds of consultation,final construction on the clinical practice patterns for emergency nursing master's graduate with professional degree,which contains 4 first-level factors,17 second-level items and 136third-level items.Conclusion:Up till the present moment,the education of Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree is still in its infancy in our country.Colleges and universities work out different training patterns of Nursing Master's Graduate With Professional Degree according to the general requirements of the national ministry of education.This result in the level of the postgraduates is varied,finally affecting the development of nursing cause in our country.Therefore,constructing a scientific,comprehensive and standardized clinical practice pattern for Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate with Professional Degree,conducing to improve the quality of nursing education and promote the level of clinical nursing,finally meeting the clinical need for high-level,applied and specialized nurses.This study lay down a clinical practice pattern for Emergency Nursing Master's Graduate with Professional Degree,guiding by clinical demand,and the core is post competency,in order to develop a lot of highly qualified emergency nurse team,to meet the social demand for high level of emergency nursing,at the same time,To provide certain reference basis for all colleges and universities which training and educating nursing postgraduates,to further promote the development of nursing education in our country.
