PurposesThrough the comparative analysis of information literacy standards and specific requirements of the international standard of medical education,this paper summarizes the new connotations of medical information literacy.Then,combining with the characteristics of medical students,so as to achieve the MOOC based on the new connotations of medical information literacy.We hope to improve the effectiveness of information literacy education with the MOOC model,and to enhance the medical students' capabilities of lifelong learning,knowledge innovation and so on.Contents(1)This paper carries out the case study of MOOC course related medical information literacy education,and summarizes the design principles and design patterns of MOOC.(2)Through the comparative analysis of information literacy evaluation standards and the specific requirements of international standards of medical education,study the new connotations of medical information literacy.(3)Based on the new connotations of medical information literacy,this paper designs the questionnaire,investigates the characteristics of medical students and completes the early analysis of MOOC course design.Then,based on the pre-analysis of MOOC course design,and take the design principles and design patterns of MOOC as a guide,and design the MOOC course based on the new connotations of medical information literacy.Methods(1)Literature research method.This paper lays the foundation for the MOOC course design based on the new connotations of medical information literacy by using library resources and search engine,collecting the information literacy and its evaluation standard,information literacy education development course and current situation related literature.(2)Network research method.On the MOOC integration platform-"MOOC College" and "ClassCentral",supplemented by Google,Baidu and other search engines for research,sorting out domestic and foreign information literacy MOOC courses.(3)Case analysis.Accroding to the design of course resource,the design of course activity,the design of course evaluation,the design of course support,analyzing the MOOC of "digital age medicine" and "medical information science".Putting forward the design principle and design pattern of MOOC related medical information literacy education.(4)Comparative study.Comparative analysis of information literacy evaluation standards and the specific requirements of international medical education,study the new connotation of medical information literacy.(5)Questionnaire survey.The content of the questionnaire is based on the new connotation of medical information literacy,and aims to investigate the characteristics of medical students' needs.Conclusions(1)The design principles of the MOOC related medical information literacy education include:? the principle of moderate decomposition;? the principle of contextuality;?the principle of interaction;?the principle of diversified evaluation method.(2)The new connotations of medical information literacy include information awareness,information knowledge,information ability,information ethics and morality,20 secondary dimensions,39 three-level indicators.(3)The total score of medical information literacy is 3.142 points(out of 5 points).The scores of medical information literacy are as follows:information ability(3.199 points),information awareness(3.144 points),information knowledge(3.137 points),Information ethics and morality(2.889 points).(4)The MOOC based on the new connotations of medical information literacy includes 10 teaching topics such as "how to better express information needs","how to identify information sources".
