[Purpose] Human papillomavirus(HPV)is associated with the occurrence of various malignant tumors. The risk of HPV infection is particularly high, but the vaccination rate of HPV is relatively low among college students.Since health information literacy has certain influence on behavior intention and decision-making,in order to explore the influencing factors of vaccination intention and improve vaccination rate, this study starts with health information literacy of college students to explore the influence of health information literacy on HPV vaccination intention.[Methods](1)Through combing the literature at home and abroad, this paper analyzes the relationship between current health information literacy and HPV vaccination willingness and vaccination behavior, summarizes the influencing factors of college students’ HPV vaccination willingness and the research status of related theories, and constructs a theoretical model after refining the key factors.(2)A special panel discussion was held on the adjustment of questionnaire content and language expression, the setting of research framework and assumptions, and the use of data analysis methods.(3)Self-designed questionnaire, conducting online and offline questionnaire survey on college students nationwide in December 2019.The official survey collected 460 valid questionnaires.(4)The data are collated and analyzed with IBM SPSS 21.0,and the model is established with Smart PLS3.0 to verify the hypothesis.[Results](1)the results of one-way ANOVA showed that demographic characteristics such as belief and gender had significant influence on behavioral intention(P<0.05),and found that the only key factor of sexual health characteristics on behavioral intention was condom use frequency.(2)The fitting results of structural equation model show that the fitting degree of the model is good: in the model, the total effect values of health information literacy, perceived susceptibility, subjective norm, attitude, perceived barrier cost and safety concerns, and self-efficacy on willingness to use are 0.103,0.062,-0.121,0.318,-0.083,and 0.385 respectively.Health information literacy has a significant effect on HPV vaccination willingness(P<0.05),while perceived benefits and perceived severityhave no significant effect on vaccination willingness in this research model(P>0.05).(3)the analysis results of hierarchical regression show that the health information evaluation ability in health information literacy has a significant impact on vaccination willingness(P<0.05).[Conclusions](1)Health information literacy, perceived susceptibility, attitude and self-efficacy have positive effects on vaccination willingness.(2)In health information literacy, health information evaluation ability has a positive and significant effect on vaccination willingness, age has a positive moderating effect between health information awareness and vaccination willingness, and educational background has a positive moderating effect between health information inquiry ability and vaccination willingness.(3)Health information literacy has a positive effect on perceived susceptibility,attitude,self-efficacy,perceived benefit and perceived severity; It has negative effect on subjective norm and action prompt. The impact on perceived barrier costs and safety concerns has not been confirmed in this study.
