Objective: The purpose of this study is through literature rerview,analysis of the neuroscience nurse' core competence of developed countries and the common study of specialized nurse' core competence of China,combined with the existed training curriculum of national specialized nurse and the actual development of specialized nurse,to established the chinese neuroscience specialized nurse' core competence evaluation index system,which can provide an objective and quantitative standards for the training and evaluation of neuroscience specialized nurse,and at the same time it is also of great significance for the development of specialization in neuroscience nursing and its sub-specialty.Methods: Application of the literature surceys,comparative research,qualitative interviews and other research methods to formed " Expert enquiry table about constructing of core competence evaluation index system for Neuroscience Specialized Nurse(draft)",after pilot investigation and research group's discussion,we formed " Expert enquiry table about constructing of core competence evaluation index system for Neuroscience Specialized Nurse(first round)".We use the Delphi method to implement two rounds of expert enquiries and established the chinese neuroscience specialized nurse' core competence evaluation index system ultimately.Using Excel 2003 and SPSS17.0 statistical software to process data,count data using the frequency,rate description,measurement data,said experts coordination coefficients(Kendall's W)using a plurality of non-parametric tests were statistically relevant sample test,test level of 0.05.The importance of the assignment of the indicators are based on the difference between the number of Saaty scale to determine the relative importance of the indexes,using AHP of the yahhp10.3 software to determine the weight coefficient of each index.Results: After two round of Delphi,we established the chinese neuroscience specialized nurse' core competence evaluation index system ultimately which composed by 5 first level indicators,19 second level indicators,and 88 third level indicators.In this study,the expert's authority coefficients was 0.914,the coordination coefficients of indicators were 0.458?0.346?0.300,respectively,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The 5 first level indicators and its weight index were clinical practice(0.299),critical thinking(0.299),professional development(0.201),Communication and coordination and caring(0.141),and management(0.060).By consistency checking,the CR of goal layer was 0.022,the CR of criterion laye were from 0.000 to 0.099,the weight distribution has a good consistency.Conclusion: According to literature rerview and China's actual development of specialized nurses,we established the chinese neuroscience specialized nurse' core competence evaluation index system ultimately by using Delphi.Recommendations expert advice more focused,scientifically reliable results can provide an objective and quantitative standards for the training and evaluation of neuroscience specialized nurse.However,as the study did not test the reliability and validity of the index system,whether it is applicable to clinical practice remains need to be further validation.
