Construction Of A Nursing Quality Inidicator System For Bronchial Asthma

Background Affected by accelerated industrialization and urbanization process,environmental pollution,climate change and ecological environment,bronchial asthma not only seriously affects the quality of the patient's life,but also increases the financial burden of individuals and society.To scientifically evaluate nursing quality is the core content of nursing quality management.Though,many nursing quality evaluation index system in different specialist areas were developed,a nursing quality indicator system for patients with bronchial asthma is blank.The development of nursing quality indicator system in bronchial asthma care will contribute to standardize nursing behavior,sustain improvement of the nursing quality of respiratory department,and enhance characteristic specialty developments.Objective This study is conducted to establish a nursing quality indicator system for patients with bronchial asthma,based on literature research,clinical research,Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process.It also can standardize nursing behavior,improve the nursing quality,ensure the safety of patients,and lay the foundation for establishing a national database of nursing quality of respiratory department.Methods The evaluation index of nursing quality of bronchial asthma was based on "structure-process-outcome" by qualitative researches that are literature inquiry,clinical research,Delphi method and quantitative research of Analytic Hierarchy Process.Weights coefficients of each indicator in the system were calculated and its logical consistency was tested.The nursing quality indicator system for patients with bronchial asthma was established.Results1.The evaluation index of nursing quality of bronchial asthma including 3 first-level indicators,14 second-level indicators,69 third-level indicators was established.The two effective response rates were both 100%;Cr coefficients were 0.845,0.865;W coefficients were 0.252,0.286,and P values were all less than 0.001,both the degree of concentration and coordination were higher.The weight coefficient of index system was confirmed,CR<0.1.Therefore,expect forecasts were based on theoretical basis and practical experience,the credibility was higher and the survey results were credible.2.On the basis of the mean importance of indicator,the weights of the indicators were set up by using Analytic Hierarchy Process.The weight coefficient of index system was confirmed,CR<0.1,including the weights values of the first-level indicators from high to low in turn for:structure quality(0.5273),result quality(0.2452),process quality(0.2275).The reliability and authority of the system are acceptable.It can provide a reference for the evaluation of nursing quality with bronchial asthma.Conclusions The research use Delphi method and quantitative research of Analytic Hierarchy Process to study the evaluation of nursing quality with bronchial asthma,to establish the scientific and reliable nursing quality indicator system,and to provide a set of new ideas on a sustaining improvement of characteristic specialty nursing quality.
