Objective:A system review and meta-analysis of curative effect and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of tic disorders in children. The aim of this study is to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the treatment of tic disorders in children, and to put forward the problems on the clinical trial of children with tic disorders at present,to provide reasonable advice on the future relevant clinical research design.Evaluating the effect of Xifeng Ditan Decoction in the treatment of tic disorders objectively. Methods:In the aspect of system review, according to the systematic evaluation method provided by Cochrane collaboration, reasonable literature inclusion and exclusion criteria were adopted, and several Chinese and English databases were retrieved by appropriate search strategy. The two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted the data. The quality of literature were evaluating by using the modified Jadad scale and the Cochrane Collaboration Network Bias Risk Assessment Tool.Using Revman 5.3 software to compare efficacy and safety from the following aspects:the total effective rate,YGTSS subtraction before and after treatment,Chinese medicine symptoms effective rate,Chinese medicine syndrome score points, effective rate and recurrence rate by follow-up six months,CBCL subtraction before and after treatment, adverse reactions,TESS integral. In the clinical trial, sixty eight subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 35)and control group(n = 33).The treatment group was treated with Xifeng Ditan Decoction, and the control group was treated with tiapride.2 groups were observed 1 course of treatment(8 weeks),before and after treatment using the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS)on the two groups of efficacy evaluation.Results:1.Chinese medicine groups are effective than haloperidol and tiapride groups in the total effective rate,YGTSS subtraction before and after treatment,Chinese medicine symptoms effective rate,follow-up six months of effective rate,follow-up half-year recurrence rate. The incidence of adverse reactions is less than haloperidol or tiapride group.2.The treatment group and the control group can significantly improve the symptoms of the subjects and there was no significant difference between the two groups. The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusion:1.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tic disorders is reliable and with less adverse reactions, but still need a large sample of randomized controlled double-blind test to verify.2.The method of dispelling pathogenic wind and eliminating phlegm in treating tic disorders in children was effective and safety.
