| Objective:We observe the clinical study of ear pressing to joint with Xifeng Ditan Decoction in the treatment of tic disorders in wind phlegm syndrome,to verify the effectiveness and safety of the auxiliary treatment of tic disorders by ear pressing and to promote the popularization and application of TCM characteristic therapies in this disease. Methods:A nonrandomized concurrent controlled experiment was used to artificially enroll 30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group according to the children’s condition and related factors. The control group only took Xifeng Ditan Decoction orally, and the treatment group took Xifeng Ditan Decoction together with ear pressure.A period of treatment includes 4 weeks, and two periods in the aggregation of treatment. In the first visit and in the 4th and the 8th weeks,a detailed consultation was conducted on the symptoms of the child one week before the arrival, and the Yale Global Tie Severity Scale(YGTSS)scale and the TCM syndrome scale were filled in.The two sets of data were entered into SPSS 17.0,and the relevant differences were compared after processing and analysis.Results:(1)Completed cases:A total of 60 cases were enrolled, with 30 cases in each group.During the treatment period,2 cases in the control group and 3 cases in the treatment group felled off,and 55 cases were completed.(2)Baseline results:There was no statistical significance between the two groups in gender, age, course of disease and YGTSS scale scores and TCM syndrome scale scores before treatment p>0.05).(3)Differences between groups:After 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment, there was statistically significance in the YGTSS scale scores and TCM syndrome scale scores and reduction rates between the two groups(p<0.05).(4)Differences within groups:The difference in the YGTSS scale and TCM syndrome scale scores at each time node after treatment and before treatment was statistically significant(p<0.05).(5)Difference in efficacy:The total effective rate of YGTSS scale scores in the control group and the treatment group were 78.57%and 92.59%respectively after 4 weeks of treatment;the total effective rate of TCM syndrome scale scores in the control group and the treatment group were 82.14%and 100%respectively after 4 weeks of treatment;the differences both were statistically significant(p<0.05).The total effective rate of YGTSS scale scores in the control group and the treatment group were 89.29%and96.30%respectively after 8 weeks of treatment;the total effective rate of TCM syndrome scale scores in the control group and the treatment group were 92.86%and 100%respectively after 8 weeks of treatment;the differences were both no statistically significant(p>0.05).(6)Safety:There was no obvious adverse reaction in both groups during treatment.Conclusion:(1)The effective rate of the two groups increased with the increase of the course of treatment. No obvious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment. The effectiveness and safety of ear acupoint pressing combined with Xifeng Ditan Decoction in the treatment of tic disorder in wind phlegm syndrome is worthy of recognition.(2)In the initial stage of treatment of tic disorder,we can use ear acupoint pressing to improve clinical symptoms and stabilize the condition better and faster. The long-term auxiliary effect of ear acupoint application therapy needs to be further studied. |
