Visualization Analysis Of The Quality Of Higher Education Research In Recent Fifteen Years

Since the college enrollment expansion of 1999, the scale of higher education has achieved great success under the guidance of the government,the higher education is change from elitist education to mass education. However, as the growth of the number of colleges and universities, the contradiction between quantity and quality have become increasingly prominent. A major theme on "improve the quality of higher education" for the first time in China to put forward policy documents, then the theme is widely recognized and concerned by the scholars. This study aims to on one hand,present the development process and current situation of the quality of higher education research,on the other hand, provide a scientific reference to the future research direction by econometric analysis of the quality of higer education research.Information visualization technology is an important research method in recent years, this study intuitive shows the progress and the status quo of the quality of Chinese higher education research through the literature time distribution, the academic community visualization analysis, the knowledge base visualization analysis,the research hotspots visualization analysis and visualization analysis of research front.Then we can Learn from the past in the future.The object of this study are the literature themed by “the quality of higher education” from 1999 to 2013 in CSSCI database. Through the author co-occurrence mapping, the authors co-citation mapping, the institution co-occurrence mapping to study the constitute of the academic community. Through the literatures co-citation mapping to research the trunk knowledge base of quality of higher education.Through the keywords co-citation mapping and keyword frequency and centrality to analyze the hotspots of the quality of higher education research(the connotation of the quality of higher education,the guarantee and evaluation and monitoring system of the quality of higher education,the view of the quality of higher education,comparison of the quality of higher education. Using burst terms to explor research front(increasing, diminuendo,innovative). Finally through the comprehensive analysis to predict the future research trend in the field of higher education quality research.
