| America is not only the birthplace of Information Science in modern world, but alsohave the longest history of develop and education of Information Science around the world.America publishes papers in the field of Information Science at top level, its researchachievements also ranks No.one, meanwhile its experience to develop and improveInformation Science had a deep impact to other countries in Information Science fields.Therefore to study hotspots of Information Science in America have high value andsignificance to grasp key points of entire field of Information Science.This paper use Web of science database and search information science, informationstudies and informatics as keywords of citations literature and based on feature ofmultidisciplinary to select six of the most relevant disciplines: computer science, libraryand information science, medical informatics, management science, mathematics andtelecommunication, then choose and download the samples. After that, popularvisualization software Citespace is used to process analysis these six samples with authoranalysis, institution analysis, hotspots keywords and cutting-edge fields keyword analysis,lists the analytical results and related map. Also a journals analysis is performed and theresults have verification work in each chapter summary. Based on all of the results, we cansee that in American, computer science, Library and Information Science and MedicalInformatics has the most direct and closet relationship with Information Science. |
