The development of rural education reform is an important part of education system reform in China, is the key and important breakthrough in improving people’s livelihood. In the proportion of population of farmers in China reached63.91%, the problem of rural education is closely related with the farmers will affect our country to improve the livelihood of the people in this area effect. More than200million primary and middle school students in rural areas in China, the number of students accounted for80%. To promote the development of education in order to truly improve the livelihood of the people, we should first solve the problem of development of rural education, also is to solve the education problems of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people. The development of rural education is the development of education in China where the throat, is essential to the improvement of people’s livelihood.This thesis consists of six chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, which, to describe the problem of rural education from the perspective of people’s livelihood of the three aspects of the part from the research significance, literature review, research methods, to the rural education and livelihood education two problems are described in details. The second chapter is the connotation of rural education in China and the characteristics of the part, starting from the basic theoretical issues of rural education in China, the definition of the rural education in china. The third chapter is to speed up the development of rural education for rural construction significance, this part is intended to explain the rural education plays in our country’s role in the construction of new countryside. The fourth chapter is the analysis of the current situation and problems of rural education in China, the part of the four problems of rural education in China is "a serious shortage of inputs, the widening gap between urban and rural education","teaching structure of aging, excellent teachers to keep","eugenics is not stable, poor students drop out of school education," serious "system is not perfect" to do in-depth analysis, analysis of the contradictory focal point question behind. Analysis on the path of rural education development under the new situation of the fifth chapter, this chapter focuses on is the foothold of this paper is also this article, based on analyzing the problems existing in China’s rural education is put forward on the development of rural education in China.
