Tai Shuangqiu is the advocates and practitioners of The people’slivelihood-centered education, who insist on that education should start from thepeople’s most pressing needs,Therefore, The people’s livelihood-centered educationadhere to comprehensive education activities,including the economic construction,text, citizens, health,leisure and so on, the focus is economic construction. Thisarticle attempts introduces the theory and practice of The people’slivelihood-centered education, desire you wholly to grasp the theory and thesignificance of the people’s livelihood,I hope it will play a reference for today’seducation reform.This article mainly divides into three chapters, removing the preface andconclusion,The first part mainly narrates the whole life of Tai Shuangqiu and themain source of his thinking, in order to clearly introduce the historical backgroundand progress of people’s livelihood education.Tai Shuangqiu was born and grew up ina turbulent background, which is semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, and at thattime people lived in hot water, all of this inspired Tai Shuangqiu’s enthusiasm ofsalvaging the country and the nation,Later his study and experience of inspectionabroad make its germination of the idea of saving country through education,herealized that education should firstly solve the survival of the people after hewitnessed people’s poor life,if not,the saying of education saving the nation is simplynonsense.But at that time,the education hadn’t realized this,so Tai Shuangqiu boldlyput forward The people’s livelihood-centered education,the goal of which isimproving people’s living.The second part mainly discusses the theory and practice system of Thepeople’s livelihood-centered education.First of all, it summarizes the meaning of Thepeople’s livelihood-centered education after comparing it with Civilian education, lifeeducation,and education of production.Simply speaking,in order to improve people’slives, to foster social survival, to safeguard the life and the education of nationalrevival,The people’s livelihood-centered education is based on people’s lives, and theeconomic activity is the ridge of the it.After that,the article deeply introduces the principle, the goal and mission of the education.The people’s livelihood-centerededucation will be divided into two periods, Shanghai rural read two clubs and bacounty education activities. Practice based on improving people’s livelihood,economic activity is the center of education activities, the most fundamental way iseducation combined with production.The third part mainly summarize the thought characteristic of the people’slivelihood education,The people’s livelihood-centered education closely around thepeople’s livelihood,and the real interests of the people.though Tai Shuangqiu is notquite familiar by later generations,and the information about education in the historyof the people’s livelihood is not a lot,This can not erase Tai Shuangqiu’s greateducation contribution to China.
