The issues of peasants, education and livelihood are the three major challengesfor China’s development of rural economic society. Among the connections, the issueof peasants is subject of education and livelihood; education itself is the main body ofthe construction of livelihood; the issues of education and livelihood are the two coremeans of liberation of peasants. Well-solved peasantry education and issue oflivelihood are not only good for free and comprehensive development of peasants, butalso for solving the issues of peasants, education and livelihood as a whole. Therefore,the improvements and promotions of peasantry education in the view of livelihood,are the trend of development of economic society, are also in accordance with basicdisciplines in China’s social construction. Nowadays, the policy system of solvingChina’s problems of peasants, education and livelihood, and relevant institutionalarrangements are existed in the field of rural in the meantime. China’s socialconstruction faces the significant issues, that is, how to integrate the threedynamically; to make design and promotion from the view of system to realize thesocial result of1+1+1>3. This thesis will make a beneficial research and try in thisaspect.There are four chapters in the thesis, they are as follows:Chapter1Background of the subject. The author will make an introduction aboutthe background of subject, make an analysis of theatrical value and realistic meaningof the research and make a literature review from the view of new-type peasants,agricultural modernization, educational equality and livelihood fairness. Besides, theauthor makes a processing and extract of the research materials that have beensearched and makes a focus on the overseas and domestic research status of peasantryeducation from the experience of overseas and domestic peasantry education; thethesis is analyzed and defined from the connotation and extension of livelihood,peasantry education and educational livelihood in order to make the research objectclear and a further analysis of research contents to ensure the basic research methods. Scientific methods are the advance of research. The methods of the thesis are asfollows: combination of history and reality, connection of macroscopic andmicroscopic analysis, and research of contexts and literature.Chapter2The root of educational and livelihood ideology of Marxism.Ideologies are the leadership of practice and the theoretical guide for research to deeppromotion. The thesis is systematically summarized and analyzed educational andlivelihood ideologies of Marxism classic writers, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, JiangZemin and Hu Jintao. It provides the coherence and integrity of educational andlivelihood ideology of Marxism, and is also good for the total judgment of overallevolutions and changes of educational and livelihood ideology of Marxism.Chapter3The livelihood value of peasantry education. The author makes ananalysis of the livelihood value of peasantry education theoretically and puts forwardthe idea of livelihood orientation of peasantry education, which combines the issuesof peasants, education with livelihood to provide the theoretical basic. Generally, thespecific ones are as follows: peasantry education itself is a part of rural livelihoodproject; development of peasantry education is good for the improvements ofpeasants’ lives, the development of rural human resources and rural education, and theadvancement of rural social harmony, etc.Chapter4Develop peasantry education in process of improving livelihood. Theauthor puts forward the choices of realistic routes of solving the problem of peasantryeducation on the basis of clarifying the relationships of launch peasantry educationand solving the problem of peasants’ livelihood. First, we should promote thepeasantry education into the framework of livelihood, accelerate the position andimportance of peasantry education in the system of peasants’ livelihood, centralize onsolving the significant and key problems in process of peasantry education, and give apreference for peasantry education on policy and institution. Then, the financial inputsshould be added on peasantry education and livelihood finance. Improving theframework of livelihood financial inputs on peasantry education and broadening theinputs regulation of livelihood of peasantry education are going to improve. Finally,livelihood education should be strived to develop to adapt peasants’ need. The vocational education that conforms to professionality, practicality and technicalityshould be laid emphasis on; education of professional skills for teenagers should beconstructed to cultivate vocational peasants; the network of agricultural technologypromotion in villages and towns should be developed to motivate the initiative ofrural elites with skills. Through their demonstration, advanced agricultural techniquesare promoted in schools.
