| Objective:To study the therapeutic efficacy and approach the mechanism of action of Shanxiang capsule, so as to take the theory support for the treatment of cold accumulation and blood stasis type dysmenorrheal.on the changes of blood hemorrheology and prostaglandin F2α,prostaglandin E2 in dysmenorrhea rats.To study the actions of Shanxiang capsule.methods :The rat modle of dysmenorrheal of syndrome of blood stasis due to cold accumulation was induced by oxytocin and water at zero degree. The effects on wringing test of dysmenorrheal rats,blood hemorrheology and prostaglandin F2α,prostaglandin E2 were observed; the analgesic and anti-inflammatory actions of distilled water(negative control group), shaofuzhuyu drop (positive control group) and different doses(0.36g,0.18g,0.09g /kg/d) of Shanxiang capsule(treatment groups) was observed after continue giving drug. With the footpad swelling test model of rat induced by egg albumen and granuloma test induced by cotton, the inflammatory effects were observed.Results:Shanxiang capsule and shaofuzhuyu drop could significantly restraint wringing times and decrease the incidence of wringing test in oxytocin induced dysmenorrhea rats, improve Hemorrheology, decrease the level of prostaglandin F2α, increase the level of prostaglandin E2, decrease pain induced by acetic acid; decrease swelling degree of footpad induced by egg albumen and decrease granuloma induced by cotton. The anti-inflammatory action of Shanxiang capsule is faster than shaofuzhuyu drop. There is no significant difference between shaofuzhuyu drop group and Shanxiang capsule group.Conclusions: Shanxiang capsule has effects of restrainting the activity of PGF2α,improving blood rheolgy. analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Shanxiang capsule has good effects on primary dysmenorrheal,the effect of Shanxiang capsule of high dose is the best. Shanxiang capsule is a safty and effective therapeutic method to dysmenorrheal. |
