| Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Wenjingzhuyu decoction in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea(PD) and to investigate the mechanism.Method:60 cases of the patients with PD were collected and divided randomly into the treatment group of 30 cases treated with Wenjingzhuyu decoction and the control group of 30 cases treated with YueYueShu Powder,then the differences between the two groups in the total therapeutic effectiveness were observed.Hemorrheological indexes and Prostaglandin F2a(PGF2a) during menstruation were measured prior to and following the treatment.Results:In treatment group,the effective rate was 93.33%,no significant difference with the control group(86.67%).The recovery rate of the treatment group(33.33%) was superior to the latter(P＜0.05). During the treatment,side effectes occurred in no case.Hemorrheological indexes of patients with PD were increasing abnormally and decreasing significantly after treatment,the effect was similar to the control group(p＞0.05).PGF2a content in plasma of patients was higher than the normal group(p＜0.05) and had a significantly positive correlation with the degrees of the disease.After treatment PGF2a content were decreased significantly,the effect was superior to the latter(p＜0.05).Conclusion:Wenjingzhuyu decoction can quickly alleviate the major symptoms of PD and has no side effect;The decoction can effectively ameliorate hemorrheological indexes,reduce PGF2a content in plasma of PD patients.On the basis of above functions,the decoction can relax uterine smooth muscle,ameliorate the microcirculation and alleviate the pain. |
