| Since China’s accession to the World Trade Organization,China’s reform and opening-up process has progressed steadily,and its economy and foreign trade scale are among the top in the world.However,the development of China’s foreign trade is facing a series of problems:lack of international competitiveness,mismatch between its position in the international division of labor and its total economic output,and unreasonable trade structure.The competition in foreign trade lies not only in "quantity",but also in "quality"."Winning with quality" is becoming a breaking point to get rid of the dilemma of "low-end lock-in" in the global value chain.At the same time,industrial intelligence is booming around the world,bringing new models and new impetus to industrial production.The fourth industrial revolution driven by technologies such as Industry 4.0,Industrial Internet,artificial intelligence,and 5G is triggering industrial production.The comprehensive transformation of the model has injected new impetus into industrial production.For our country,industrial intelligence is an important measure to realize the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade.As an important window and geographical unit of the country’s foreign trade,cities also undertake the important task of improving the transformation and upgrading of my country’s export structure.In-depth exploration of the internal relationship between my country’s urban industrial intelligence and export technology complexity has broadened the research level of my country’s urban export technology complexity to a certain extent,and provided a new perspective and new method for promoting the improvement of my country’s urban export technology complexity.This paper sorts out the relevant literature on industrial intelligence and export technology complexity at home and abroad,and deeply analyzes the impact mechanism of industrial intelligence on export technology complexity.This paper believes that there may be a positive relationship between industrial intelligence and export technology complexity.Linear impact,in which technological innovation plays a mediating effect,and the effective combination of human capital,intelligent technology and equipment can positively adjust its promotion effect.Based on the theoretical analysis of this paper,relevant research hypotheses are put forward.In terms of empirical research,based on the panel data of 270 cities in China from 2008 to 2018,this paper analyzes the impact of industrial intelligence on the complexity of export technology.The results found that: First,the improvement of the level of industrial intelligence in China’s cities has significantly promoted the increase in the complexity of export technology and improved the structure of urban exports.Second,the impact of urban industrial intelligence on export technical complexity has a double threshold effect and presents significant nonlinear characteristics.In different threshold intervals,industrial intelligence has a significant positive impact on export technical complexity,but As the degree of intelligence increases,its impact shows a marginal diminishing trend.Third,there is great heterogeneity in the effect of industrial intelligence on the improvement of export technology complexity,and different effects are produced due to differences in city location and urban agglomeration.Fourth,urban industrial intelligence mainly increases the complexity of export technology by improving technological innovation capabilities.With the development of industrial intelligence,human capital has played a positive role in regulating the complexity of export technology. |
