In this paper, the characteristics of digital service trade of RCEP member countries are systematically analyzed from the spatial geographical location by constructing cross-border data flow restriction index.A spatial panel model is constructed based on the spatial correlation between cross-border data flow restriction and digital service trade. From multiple dimensions, this paper systematically analyzes the impact of cross-border data flow restrictions of RCEP countries on China’s digital service trade from 2010 to 2020.The results show that :(1)there is a significant negative correlation between cross-border flow restrictions and China’s digital service trade, but there is a significant spatial spillover effect of China’s digital service trade in RCEP region, which can weaken the negative impact of cross-border data flow restrictions to some extent;(2)If China unilaterally increases restrictions on a country’s cross-border data flow,it will cause "scope shock" to other RCEP countries and reduce the enthusiasm of conducting digital service trade with China;(3)Except for low-income RCEP countries, the income level of other countries will affect the development of digital service trade between the host country and its neighboring countries and China to a certain extent;(4)Island countries within RCEP pay more attention to and believe in the signing of terms and agreements due to their unique geographical location, and are willing to engage in digital service trade with other countries.
