The Function And Influence Of Handicraft Industry Transformation On Hubei Collective Economy

Collective industry is a traditional advantageous industry in China,originating from the socialist transformation of traditional handicrafts.After the founding of New China,after a short period of national economic recovery,the CPC Central Committee put forward the General line of the party and the general task of "One Modernization,Three Reforms".Under the leadership of the Party and the people’s government,the great transformation from individual economy to collective economy was achieved by carrying out the cooperative movement of handicrafts.After years of development,collective industry has now become a large and widely distributed industrial force,playing an important role in the construction of socialist industrialization.Hubei’s handicraft industry has always been developed and is the backbone of Hubei’s traditional social economy.Hubei took the lead in launching the handicraft socialist transformation movement in the country,setting a typical example for the nationwide handicraft cooperative movement.Taking the socialist transformation of handicraft industry in Hubei as the starting point,this paper attempts to explore the impact of the socialist transformation of handicraft industry in Hubei on collective industry.Knowing its prosperity will surely trace its origin.From the perspective of historical materialism,understanding the historical development context of Hubei handicraft industry will help to further grasp the panorama of Hubei handicraft industry.Hubei is located in a crucial location in the Central Plains,with abundant natural resources,convenient transportation,a long and splendid cultural heritage,and a revolutionary tradition deeply rooted in people’s hearts.It is precisely because of this that Hubei’s handicraft industry has the advantages of developing and strengthening resources and excellent traditions.In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Hubei’s handicraft industry was severely damaged by war and urgently needed to develop and recover.With a series of supportive policies from the Party and the people’s government,Hubei’s handicraft industry quickly recovered.However,due to the small scale,shortage of funds and backward technology of individual handicraft industry,its relations of production and productivity are far from adaptive;On the other hand,the individual handicraft industry is based on private ownership and has the spontaneous consciousness of capitalism.Without socialist transformation,its private ownership cannot be changed and its productivity cannot be improved.In order to change this relations of production and promote the development of productivity,Hubei has made active exploration and become the pioneer of the national handicraft industry cooperatives.The socialist transformation of Hubei handicraft industry has mainly gone through four stages,namely,pilot,extensive development,the climax of cooperation,and rectification and adjustment.Through three forms of production groups,supply and marketing cooperatives,and production cooperatives,it has gradually transformed individual private ownership into collective public ownership,opening up a new path from small production to large production.Through the cooperative movement,traditional handicrafts have developed into a new type of socialist collective industry.Collective industry has broken through the limitations and weaknesses of individual handicraft development,and has great advantages and abundant vitality.It has become an indispensable way and method to accelerate socialist modernization construction.
