Origin Attribute,Quality And Safety Perception And Farmer Income

Zhejiang Province is a demonstration area for building common prosperity.In order to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas,it is necessary to implement the strategy of agricultural industry revitalization,develop high-quality and high-quality agricultural products,and improve farmers’ income.Tongxiang Hangbaiju is China’s top chrysanthemum tea protected by the geographical indication of origin,with nearly 400 years of planting history,but its industrial development and quality safety level is deteriorating,has not brought high income to farmers.Therefore,ensuring the quality and safety of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum and realizing the high-quality development of Tongxiang Hangzhou white chrysanthemum industry are of great significance for farmers to get rich and increase their income.In this paper,Tongxiang Hangzhou White chrysanthemum is taken as the research object.Based on the investigation and interview with the heads of chrysanthemum farmers,leading enterprises,cooperatives and relevant government units in Tongxiang and Sheyang,case analysis and regression model are used to explore its impact on farmers’ income from two aspects of origin attribute and quality safety cognition.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The current Tongxiang Hangzhou white chrysanthemum industry has not achieved good development due to the weak awareness of green production of chrysanthemum farmers,illegal use of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum brand by enterprises,weak government supervision and other reasons.(2)Compared with Sheyang Chrysanthemum,Tongxiang Hangzhou White Chrysanthemum with origin attribute also has a higher income for its planting farmers.(3)The results of the econometric regression model show that farmers with higher quality and safety cognition can obtain higher income.Jufarmers with higher quality and safety cognition can get higher income after receiving quality premium signal.Factor input,industrial organization closeness and serious natural disasters will affect the output level of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: First,change the subsidy method,reduce farmers’ planting costs,and improve farmers’ quality and safety cognition;The second is to accelerate land transfer and promote the construction of the whole industrial chain of Hangzhou white chrysanthemum;The third is to strengthen the supervision of the origin attribute of Tongxiang Hangzhou white chrysanthemum,to prevent the origin label from being abused;Fourth,take the route of high-quality and high-end agricultural products,and win by "quality" rather than "quantity";The fifth is to strengthen the publicity,improve the visibility of Tongxiang Hangzhou white chrysanthemum.
