| The research object of this thesis is how Digital Finance promotes the transformation of traditional industries.It is mentioned in the report of the 20 th National Congress of the CPC to build a modern industrial system and promote the high-end and intelligent development of the manufacturing industry.The study of this thesis uses this as the background,which has strong realistic value.From the perspective of literature research,the current research on digital finance is relatively rich,but the existing literature is mainly based on the impact of digital finance on economic growth,corporate financing constraints,innovation and entrepreneurship,and industrial adjustment.The impact of finance on the transformation of traditional industries.From the perspective of research methods,in the past,the literature was mostly measured by single indicators to measure the degree of transformation of traditional industries,and the degree of measurement of traditional industries was not comprehensive.In order to make up for the deficiencies in this regard,the degree of transformation of traditional industries is constructed through the main component analysis method.And the promotion of traditional industrial transformation is researched through empirical analysis and case analysis combined with point and plane.The method of combining the point with plane is used in the thesis,taking the empirical research on the promotion of traditional industrial transformation of digital finance at the provincial level as the "plane",and then taking the case analysis of Shagang Co.,Ltd.as the "point",so as to achieve the purpose of demonstrating that the development of digital finance promotes the transformation of traditional industries.The analysis method of combining the point and plane is used in the thesis,which is not only conducive to solving the problem of insufficient representation of cases,but also conducive to enhancing the scientificity,comprehensiveness and persuasiveness of the thesis.The study in this thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is to study the theoretical basis and mechanism analysis of the development of digital finance to promote the transformation of traditional industries,and sort out relevant theories,mainly including financial inhibition and financial deepening,endogenous economic growth theory,etc.After that,the mechanisms are analyzed based on the theoretical basis.The second part is the measurement of the degree of transformation of traditional industries and the development of digital finance.The comprehensive index of the degree of transformation of traditional industries is constructed by principal component analysis from the aspects of technological transformation,proportion of traditional industries in industry and benefits of traditional industrial transformation.The digital finance development index uses the Peking University Digital Financial Inclusion Index.The third part is an empirical test of the role of digital finance development in promoting the transformation of traditional industries.In this thesis,the annual data of31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)from 2011 to 2021 were selected,and the traditional industrial transformation degree index was used as the explanatory variable,the degree of economic development and openness were taken as the control variables,and the digital financial development degree index and its various dimension indices were used to establish a random-effects model for the core explanatory variables and performed empirical regression in turn.The empirical results show that digital finance can significantly promote the transformation of traditional industries,and the breadth of sub-dimensions,depth of use and degree of digitalization also play an obvious role in promoting the transformation of traditional industries.Moreover,the role of digital finance in promoting the transformation of traditional industries is heterogeneous,and the impact coefficient of digital finance on the transformation of traditional industries in the western region is greater than that in the eastern region.The fourth part is case introduction and case analysis,which selects Shagang Co.,Ltd.to prove the role of digital finance in promoting the transformation of traditional industries by combining empirical testing and case analysis.Finally,combined with the above analysis,relevant policy suggestions are put forward through the transmission mechanism of digital finance development to promote the transformation of traditional industries. |
