A Research On Factors Influencing The International Competitiveness Of Producer Services Trade In China

As the international division of labor becomes more specific and refined,the proportion of productive service trade in international trade is increasing,and it has become a pillar industry of many developed countries,playing an increasingly prominent role in world economic development and international competition.However,since our country is still dominated by traditional labor and resource-intensive industries such as transportation and modern service industry characterized by knowledge and technology intensive develops slowly,the development level of Chinese producer service trade is overall low and its deficit is in a long time.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to correctly judge and grasp the development trend and potential influencing factors of producer service trade and make positive policy adjustment based on the current situation of China to improve the competitiveness of producer service trade in China.Therefore,this paper summarizes the present situation of Chinese producer service trade,and then measures and analyzes the international competitiveness level(including overall and department).According to the theory of comparative advantage,the theory of national competitive advantage and the existing studies of scholars,the factors affecting the international competitiveness of producer service trade are found.Then,on this basis,the relevant data of producer service trade and its influencing factors are collected,and the VAR model is constructed to investigate the influence of influencing factors on competitiveness from a dynamic perspective.Through the research,this article draws the following conclusions:export technical complexity,per capital national income,gross enrollment rate of higher education and exports of goods trade have a positive effect on the competitiveness of producer services trade,but the effect of foreign direct investment and the openness of producer services trade is not obvious enough because of the actual situation in our country.In order to improve the competitiveness of productive service trade countries,this article puts forward the following suggestions:(1)enlarge the scale of human capital;(2)Improve the technological content of productive service trade;(3)Giving play to the driving role of trade in goods;(4)Enhance trade openness;(5)Attracting foreign direct investment.
