Study On Spatio-Temporal Evolution And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Production Efficiency In Jilin Province

All regions in Jilin Province have long attached great importance to agricultural development,adhering to advanced development concepts,and actively seeking effective measures to promote the transformation and development of agriculture in Jilin Province,which has played a positive role in promoting the modernization,scale,and industrialization of agriculture in Jilin Province.However,in the process of agricultural development in Jilin Province,there are still prominent issues such as unbalanced supply and demand structures,unreasonable allocation of factors,and greater environmental pressure.Strengthening agricultural production efficiency management and improving agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province have become the key to improving the allocation of agricultural factors in Jilin Province,promoting the balance of supply and demand structures,and alleviating the resource and environmental pressure brought about by agricultural development.Therefore,this article has conducted a study on the temporal and spatial evolution and influencing factors of agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province,with a view to discovering the evolution rules of agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province,identifying the bottlenecks faced in the process of improving agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province,and proposing targeted measures,in order to provide reference for the formulation of agricultural production policies in Jilin Province.This article takes Jilin Province as the research object,using input and output panel data to measure agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province from 2011 to 2020,and using the three stage data envelopment analysis method,calculates the scale efficiency value,pure technical efficiency value,and comprehensive technical efficiency value of various regions in Jilin Province since 2011.At the same time,using the calculated efficiency values,a longitudinal and horizontal comparative analysis was conducted to summarize the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of agricultural production efficiency in various regions of Jilin Province.When analyzing the influencing factors of the spatiotemporal evolution of agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province,this article uses the Tobit model.Based on the relevant research experience and the needs of this study,it discusses the impact of factors such as regional industrialization level,regional population urbanization level,and agricultural,forestry,and water affairs expenditure in financial expenditure on the spatiotemporal evolution of agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province.The main conclusions of the study are as follows: Firstly,according to the results of the three stage DEA analysis,it is found that the agricultural production efficiency values of various regions in Jilin Province will be affected by the external environment.After using the SFA regression method to eliminate the impact of the environment,the comprehensive technical efficiency and scale efficiency of various regions have significantly declined,while the pure technical efficiency has rebounded;Secondly,from the perspective of changes over time,there is an upward trend in the agricultural effective efficiency values of Baicheng and Songyuan in Jilin Province,which has a large development space;Finally,from the perspective of spatial changes,there are significant differences in agricultural production efficiency among regions in Jilin Province.Moreover,with the continuous change of time,the issue of spatial differentiation becomes more prominent.The regression analysis conducted by the Tobit model in this article shows that the expenditure on agricultural,forestry,and water affairs in the financial support of various regions in Jilin Province has a negative impact on the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in various regions,while the level of urbanization of the regional population can have a positive impact on the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in various regions,and the impact of industrialization level and the proportion of grain sown area is also prominent.In order to promote the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in Jilin Province,it is recommended that Jilin Province continue to optimize the allocation structure of financial support for agriculture while establishing a complete budget system for agricultural,forestry,and water affairs expenditures,continue to promote the process of urban-rural integration,and actively promote agricultural industrialization and information construction.
