Research On The Willingness And Influencing Factors Of Farmers’ Interests To Connect With Leading Enterprises In Shandong Province

In the process of agricultural industrialization development,the interest linkage between farmers and leading enterprises is crucial to maintain the interests of farmers and leading enterprises.Therefore,this paper researches the willingness of interest linkage between farmers and leading enterprises and its influencing factors,which is of great significance to the development of agricultural industrialization in Shandong Province.Firstly,we investigate the development of the interest linkage between farmers and leading enterprises in Shandong Province,analyze the main participating subjects in the interest linkage,study the behavior characteristics of each subject and analyze the relationship between each subject in the interest linkage,and specifically analyze the main organization mode and mechanism types of the current interest linkage between farmers and leading enterprises in Shandong Province.The results show that the leading enterprises in Shandong mainly adopt"company+farmers","company+base+farmers","company+cooperative+base+farmers","compan y+intermediary organization+farmers" and "company+intermediary organization+farmers".Company+intermediary organization+farmers",and the current interest linkage mechanisms are"buy-out","cooperative" and "shareholding".The current interest linkage mechanisms are"buyout","cooperative" and "shareholding".The farmers’ choice of cooperation form depends on various factors,which cannot constitute a long-term and stable interest linkage and affect the enhancement of economic and social benefits of the leading enterprises.Therefore,based on the previous research on farmers’ willingness to cooperate in Shandong Province,six factors were selected,including farmers’ age,farmers’ education level,family size,whether the leading enterprises provide services for farmers,farmers’ risk-taking ability and settlement method.A binary logistic regression analysis was used to predict and verify the effects of the above factors.According to the current situation and analysis of the interest linkage between farmers and leading enterprises in Shandong Province,the current interest linkage mechanism between farmers and leading enterprises in Shandong Province is not sound,and there are still many problems,mainly in the frequent default of farmers,which is difficult to restrain;the status of both sides is not symmetrical,and farmers are not highly motivated;the role of cooperative organizations is not obvious;the relationship between interest linkage subjects is not close;government policies need to be improved.The government policy needs to be improved,etc.Combining the factors influencing farmers’ willingness to cooperate with the empirical analysis,taking into full consideration the significant influencing factors of the regression analysis,the following countermeasures are proposed to address the problems in the current interest linkage mechanism in Shandong Province: strengthening contractual legal and institutional constraints;improving the status and enthusiasm of farmers’ market subjects;giving full play to the functions of cooperative organizations;strengthening the construction of interest communities and tightening the relationship between interest linkage subjects;improving relevant policies and enhance policy support.
