Express Packaging Recycling Behavior Of Workers In Posthouses Of Taiyuan And Influencing Factors

In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it was pointed out that green production and lifestyle have been widely formed,carbon emissions have steadily decreased after reaching their peak,the ecological environment has fundamentally improved,and the goal of a beautiful China has been basically achieved.Actively and steadily promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,actively promote clean,low-carbon and efficient use of energy,and promote clean and low-carbon transformation in industries,buildings,transportation and other fields.The rise of e-commerce has driven the development of the express delivery industry.Data shows that in 2021,the national postal express delivery business volume exceeded 100 billion pieces,followed by the rapid growth of billions of express packaging waste.In the current context of "dual carbon",the recycling and treatment of express packaging waste has become a topic of common concern for logistics enterprises and the entire society.Taking the express station in Taiyuan as an example,this paper focuses on the analysis of the problems existing in the process of recycling express packaging waste and the factors affecting this recycling behavior.First of all,based on the theory of planned behavior,under the premise of reverse logistics theory and circular economy theory,combined with social capital theory and incentive theory,this paper constructs a theoretical model of influencing factors of post station express packaging recycling behavior with "recycling attitude","subjective norms","perceived behavior control","recycling willingness","status perception" and "economic incentive" as independent variables,and "recycling behavior" as dependent variables;Secondly,data collection was conducted in six major urban areas of Taiyuan City,including Xiaodian District,Wanbailin District,Yingze District,Jiancaoping District,Jinyuan District,and Xinghualing District,through a combination of online questionnaires and offline research.At the same time,on-site visits were conducted to post station staff for advice.The structural equation model analysis method was used to explore the extent to which each influencing factor affects post station recycling behavior,and the model was validated and analyzed;Finally,based on the actual situation and with the post station as the starting point,reasonable and scientific suggestions are given to improve the utilization rate of express packaging waste.In further research,a reasonable mechanism for recycling express packages is proposed to obtain more waste express packages from consumers,thereby improving the comprehensive utilization rate of express packaging,reducing resource waste,reducing environmental pollution,and achieving sustainable development of express packaging and even the logistics industry.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,the recycling attitude,subjective norms and perceptual behavior control based on the theory of planned behavior significantly affect the willingness of the post station to recycle the express packaging waste;Second,the willingness of post stations to recycle significantly affects the recycling behavior of post stations to express packaging waste;Third,status quo perception accounts for the largest proportion of the five major influencing factors,that is,status quo perception has a significant positive impact on the recovery behavior of post stations;Fourth,economic incentives have a positive impact on the recovery behavior of post stations,but the impact of economic incentives is not as large as the first four.In summary,from the perspective of post stations,it is necessary to improve the recycling rate of express packaging.The willingness of post stations to recycle and the norms of society towards post stations are the main influencing factors.The government and society should accelerate the formulation and implementation of relevant recycling rules and regulations.
