| In agricultural production, land and labor are the two core elements, and their combination and mobility have an important impact on rural economic development.Since the reform and opening up,China’s rural land system has undergone significant changes from ‘Separation of two rights’ to ‘Separation of three rights’.The system of ‘Separation of two rights’ has enabled farmers to obtain the right to claim the remaining agricultural land, releasing a large amount of rural land productivity, while the system of ‘Separation of three rights’ has enabled the government to respond to the new situation of market-oriented land transfer with institutional innovation, stabilizing the contractual rights of farmers through the separation of rights and the creation of rights. The ‘Separation of three rights’ system is an institutional innovation by the government to respond to the new situation of land transfer market, stabilize the contracting rights of farmers, release the management rights, optimize the land transfer market and large-scale operation, and promote the development of rural economy and agricultural modernization. Therefore,it is important to investigate the factors and mechanisms affecting farmers’ land transfer behavior in the context of separation of three rights,in order to provide theoretical responses and practical guidance for optimizing the land transfer market and helping rural revitalization. In this paper,we use the theoretical framework of the rural revitalization strategy theory and the theory of farmers’ behavior to clarify the factors and mechanisms influencing farmers’ land transfer, combine 382 field surveys in Shan County,Shandong Province, and use the binary logistic model to study The following conclusions were drawn: farmers’ education level, farmland area, farmers’ understanding of the separation of three rights, farmers’ satisfaction with the separation of three rights, farmers’ understanding that land management rights can be mortgaged, farmers’ social capital, and participation in basic pension and health insurance for urban and rural residents can significantly contribute to farmers’ land transfer behavior. However, the number of laborers in farm households significantly inhibits farmland transfer behavior.Based on the above findings,we propose policy recommendations in terms of strengthening policy propaganda, promoting non-farm employment, improving the rural social security system, and improving the land property rights system to provide reference suggestions for optimizing the land transfer market, promoting agricultural modernization, and promoting rural revitalization. |
