A Study On The Selection And Influencing Factors Of Elderly Care Service Models For Rural Residents In Weixian County Of Hebei Province

With the development of social economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,residents have a higher vision and expectations for elderly care.During the 14 th Five Year Plan period,the "Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 14 th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long Range Goals for 2035" proposed to "implement the national strategy of actively responding to population aging" : actively develop elderly human resources and develop the silver economy.The "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of National Elderly Care and the Elderly Care Service System" further proposes a national economic development strategy led by party organizations,deeply led by the government,actively participated by society,and acted by the whole people to actively respond to aging.But with the acceleration of urbanization,rural young and middle-aged labor force flows to cities,making the majority of the elderly become "left behind elderly people";At the same time,with the decrease in population fertility rate and the extension of per capita life expectancy,the issue of population aging in China is becoming increasingly prominent.The traditional family elderly care model can no longer adapt to the rapid development of society,which also makes us constantly think about how to optimize and find suitable elderly care models.The construction of elderly care services in some regions of China has achieved initial results and successfully driven the development of the elderly care industry in surrounding areas.However,the contradiction of imbalanced and insufficient development still exists,and the gap between the development of rural and urban elderly care industries is gradually widening.The drawbacks of the construction of rural elderly care service systems are becoming increasingly apparent,which are manifested in insufficient special funds,low professionalism of service personnel,relatively backward supporting facilities,increased difficulty in centralized elderly care services caused by the relative dispersion of elderly people in rural areas,and the absence of government agency functions.In response to the above issues,this article explores how to scientifically construct a model of elderly care services for rural residents.Wei County is located in the southern part of Hebei Province,with a large proportion of migrant workers.The problem of aging is severe,and the issue of elderly care for rural residents is more prominent.This article takes Wei County as an example for research.This article first analyzes the basic situation and elderly care resources of rural elderly people in Wei County,and visits and investigates the selection of elderly care models and influencing factors of rural residents in Wei County in the form of a survey questionnaire.It is expected to improve the hierarchical and diversified construction of the elderly care service system for rural residents based on the significance of the influencing factors.Through correlation analysis,clarify the relationship between influencing factors and elderly care models and propose hypotheses.Using logistic regression analysis,identify the significant influencing factors of elderly care model selection,and analyze the degree of influence of each influencing factor,providing more targeted theoretical basis for policy recommendations in the following text.The research results indicate that health status,ability to take care of oneself in daily life,relationship with children,financial support provided by children,and understanding of community and home care services are significant influencing factors for whether to choose community elderly care,with coefficients of 0.254,-0.841,-0.347,-0.452,-0.361,respectively.Health status,relationship with children,and financial support provided by children are significant influencing factors for whether to choose home care,Their coefficients are-0.995,1.249,and-1.873,respectively.Based on the above analysis results,this article proposes optimization suggestions from four dimensions: government,society,family,and individual,in order to have a positive promoting effect on the construction of rural residents’ elderly care service system and improve the coordinated elderly care service system between home care and community care.The construction of the elderly care service system should continuously improve the system,innovate work,promote the diversified and diversified development of elderly care,and ensure that all elderly people can have a sense of security,support,happiness,and security in their old age.
