Research On The Rural Elderly Care In Neihuang County

With the acceleration of China’s population aging process,the issue of population aging is becoming increasingly prominent.The pressure on elderly care brought by aging to Chinese society has sharply increased,especially for rural areas with relatively slow development,which face more severe challenges.Rural areas are facing poor economic conditions,inadequate infrastructure,and children going out to work,resulting in a gradual decline in the total rural population.The proportion of elderly people in the total population is even larger,which has become the focus and difficulty of China’s response to the challenge of elderly care.The solution to the problem of providing for the elderly in rural areas is the focus of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and promoting common prosperity,and the country attaches great importance to it.Although the country has done a lot of work and exploration to solve the problem of elderly care in rural areas,the problem of elderly care in rural areas has not been fundamentally solved,and the elderly care problem still affects the production and life of rural elderly people,affecting the pace of promoting rural revitalization.This article mainly focuses on the elderly care issues in rural areas of Neihuang County.As a populous county,the aging population in Neihuang County has become increasingly severe in recent years,and relevant departments have also taken some measures.However,due to the backward rural development and severe shortage of elderly care resources in the area,the elderly care problem cannot be effectively solved.Therefore,investigating and studying the influencing factors of elderly care issues in rural areas of Neihuang County is in line with China’s national conditions and the actual needs of Neihuang County.This article mainly uses methods such as literature research,survey questionnaire,and interview to define and elaborate on the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of rural elderly care.It summarizes the current situation of rural elderly care in Neihuang County from the aspects of population status,economic status,medical and health status,choice of elderly care methods,and emotional needs.The main problems of rural elderly care in Neihuang County include economic difficulties in supporting the elderly,insufficient support from elderly care institutions,the need to improve medical and health conditions,and a lack of attention to the spiritual needs of the elderly.In response to the above problems,the reasons are analyzed from the perspectives of economy,society,family,and the elderly themselves.Drawing on the experience and practices of elderly care in Japan,Germany,South Korea,and Yilong,Sichuan,solutions are proposed: firstly,we should attach importance to the promotion and education of rural filial piety culture;Secondly,consolidate the foundation of rural elderly care economy;Thirdly,accelerate the development process of rural elderly care institutions;Fourth,improve the level of rural medical and health conditions;The fifth is to care about the spiritual needs of rural elderly people.The issue of rural elderly care is a hot topic of social concern,and it is necessary to continuously increase farmers’ income and enhance the source of funding for rural elderly care.Solving the issue of elderly care is not only a matter for the government,but also requires the active participation of social forces.Spiritual satisfaction is an important aspect of the quality of elderly care,and filial piety education should be provided to family members in various ways to make them care about the spiritual life of the elderly and establish a good social trend of respecting and respecting the elderly.
