| "The development of agricultural socialisation services can,on the basis of retaining the status of smallholder farmers as the mainstay of business, realise the organic connection between smallholder farmers and modern agriculture, promote large-scale agricultural operations, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of agriculture.Since 2004,socialised agricultural services have been mentioned in the "No.1" document of the Central Government for many years in a row.Since the 19 th Party Congress, the State has attached great importance to the construction of socialised agricultural service systems and given a number of policies to support the development of socialised agricultural services. At present,China’s agricultural socialized service organizations have gradually specialized, and their services have covered the entire agricultural production process, and the agricultural socialized service system has taken initial shape. However, with the advancement of agricultural modernisation, there is a certain incompatibility between small farmers and modern agricultural development.By analysing the needs of small farmers for agricultural socialised services and the influencing factors,we can lay the foundation for the improvement of the content and development direction of agricultural socialised services, which is also conducive to the construction of the agricultural socialised service system.Based on 310 questionnaires from one district and three counties in Bozhou, this thesis examines the factors that influence farmers’ demand for agricultural socialisation.Firstly, based on the supply level, the level of supply of agricultural social services in Bozhou is analysed in terms of the supply subject, supply mode and supply content.Secondly, based on the demand level,a descriptive analysis was conducted on the basic characteristics of farmers in the research area, the overall evaluation of farmers and the level of demand for agricultural social services by farmers,The level of demand of smallholder farmers was classified into five levels: "very strong","strong","average","not strong" and "none",and the farmers’ own characteristics, family characteristics, land characteristics, wealth characteristics and the farmers’ overall evaluation were analyzed empirically using a logistic model.Logistic models were used to empirically analyse the factors affecting farmers’ demand for agricultural social services. The following conclusions were drawn from the research on the supply and demand sides: at present, agricultural social services in Bozhou are developing in the direction of multi-level and high level.Among the four agricultural socialised services, namely production material supply services, agricultural machinery services, agricultural product distribution services and comprehensive agricultural services, farmers have the strongest demand for agricultural machinery services, followed by production material supply services, agricultural product distribution services respectively, and the lowest demand for comprehensive agricultural services. As farmers’ demand for agricultural social services is affected by multiple factors,in addition to the basic characteristics of farmers, external factors such as the service mode and service price of the supplying body also affect farmers’ demand.Based on the findings of the study, this thesis puts forward countermeasure suggestions to cultivate diversified subjects and improve the service level;broaden the construction of channels and improve information acquisition;innovate the service mode and improve the service efficiency;increase the publicity and raise the awareness level;carry out agricultural training and change the production concept;and agree on the service price and standardize the service process. |
